I got 41 percentage in class 12.and I want do b. com in St Xavier college Ahmedabad can I get admission

iammohdshareef 2nd Mar, 2020
Hello,
.
There are very few Chances of getting a seat with your percentage. As the admissions are based on merit list And there are only 60 seats for b.com students. If the college gets all the students above 50%, then you have no chance for admission. In case, if the college includes 40% students in there merit list, you may get the seat over there. So, it will be a better option to even find other colleges in spare

do some PSUs allow candidates with 70%in BTech but not 60%in 12th? can I still get the job at any PSU?

S. Saha Student Expert 15th Mar, 2020

It depends on different PSUs. But most of the PSUs consider your graduation percentage and GATE score and this is their minimum criteria. If you score well in Gate and Interview Round, there will be higher chance of getting selected. Mainly they ask for at least 60% in B.Tech but a consistency in 10 and 12 result is also needed.

1. I have done csbe class 10 in Gujarat and appearing in class 12 also in Gujarat. Do I need birth certificate for state quota ? 2. I am having bonafied resident certificate of Rajasthan will I be qualified for rajasthan state quota?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 2nd Mar, 2020

Sanjana, if you were born in Gujarat and completed your 10th and 12th from any of the recognised boards of Gujarat, you needn't submit any domicile certificate for proof. Or else you will have to submit your domicile certificate to claim right to participate in Gujarat State Counselling. If you were not born in Gujarat, but have completed your 10th and 12th in Gujarat. to claim stake in Gujarat State Counselling, one of your parents should have been residents of Gujarat. There is no Institutional Quota in Gujarat. You can check our page for more clarity on this. https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/gujarat-mbbs-admission Regarding, Rajasthan, either you should have studied in Rajasthan for a period of 5 years or either of your parents have resided in Rajasthan for atleast a period of 10 years. You can check that at: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/rajasthan-mbbs-admission . For any guidance during counselling and admission, you can use our MBBS Companion: https://www.careers360.com/mbbs-companion

what is the k-cet cutoff for this college

Anurag Khanna 2nd Mar, 2020

Hello Dinesh,

As you have not mentioned the name of college so it is not possible to determine the cut-off. Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2020 will be conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) and cut-off will be released by KEA.

Cut-off of any exam depends on various factors like :

  • Availability of seats in that particular institute.
  • Number of candidates appeared.
  • Difficulty level of question paper.

and other factors.

Good Luck!!
