is maths syllabus same for science and humanities students in class 12 cbse?

Hello Aspirant!

Yes, the syllabus of Mathematics for all the 3 streams - Science, Commerce and Humanities of CBSE Class 12th students is the same. There is no change. In fact, in our school days, all the students of different streams having Mathematics used to attend Maths lectures together. The same NCERT textbook chapters are included in the syllabus of all the streams.

How to enter in Iisst Thiruvananthpuram

Hello,

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology  is a government institution established in the year 2007. The institution offers various undergraduate and postgraduate degree in various disciplines like B.tech,M.tech, Phd.

You didn't mention the course for which you want to get admission, however i'm assuming and answering for B.tech Courses.

Eligibility

  • Should be an Indian Citizen
  • Should be born on or after October 01st, 1994.
  • Should have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as core subjects in class 12th
  • Should have scored 75% aggregate in Class 12th ( All 5 Subject aggregate)
  • Should appear and qualify JEE Mains and after that JEE Advance.
  • Should Score 20% aggregate in JEE Advance and 5% separately in PCM

To get Admission in IIST, you need to apply  on IIST website for admission. Admission Portal of IIST opens in last week of June. A rank list will be generated based on the marks you score in JEE Advance

what percentage is needed in 12 board to get admission in the College

Hi Khushi,

As you have not mentioned the name of college so it is not possible to guide you properly.

Generally you have to score 75% or more for seating in entrance exams for different fields like engineering, medical and so on but different colleges have different eligibility criteria of 10+2 percentage.

Hi student,

You should follow these steps:-

  • First of all you should give JEE Main Exam next year.
  • Try to score as higher as you can, as the higher you score better college you will get.
  • You can also give exams from other reputed colleges like BITSAT, SRMJEE etc.
  • Accept your results and choose your college and branch wisely
  • Then, while in college, prepare for GATE to get admission in IITs, NITs for M.Tech course.

I get 60% in Class 12 board which college dont consider board mark

Hello Ayush,

Many of the colleges which provides admissions strictly on merit basis do consider class 12th marks so if you are eligible for a particular course at 60% marks then you will surely get the admission.

But also there are some colleges which provides admission on entrance based examination and with minimum of 50% marks in 12th standard to be eligible to sit in the entrance examination.

So all the options of taking admission through entrance examination are open for you.

if you want to make a career in artificial intelligence then you have to go for a bachelor's degree in technology and master degree in technology for which you have to study for joint entrance examination and graduate aptitude test in engineering for BTech and Mtech respectively.

You have to do your BTech in computer science or information technology and your m tech in artificial intelligence and data science.
