Neha Kanwar 26th Mar, 2020

Hello Vishal,

Yes even if you have opted maths as an optional subject you would be getting the same question paper as the other students who have maths in their main subject. There will be no difference in the maths question paper whether it's in optional subject on in main subject.

Hope it helps.

Good Luck!

Different methods of lyophobic sol preparation ?

Pratyay Islam 26th Mar, 2020

Hello,

Lyophobic Sol Preparation

1. Condensation methods - These methods involve chemical reaction , exchange of solvent and excessive cooling. Br2 + H2S ---> 2Hbr + S

2. Disintegration or dispersion technique

  • Bredigs Arc Method - Electric arc is struck between two electrodes of metal whose sol is to be prepared after immersing in preferable ice cooled medium.

  • Peptisation - Freshly prepared precipitate is added in small quantities  with constant stirring into a related electrolyte.

  • Mechanical Disintegration - Suspension of dispersed phase in suitable dispersed medium is passed through two concentric steel discs to which rotate , this prepares a colloid solution.

the email id I have entered in the application is not working now then how can i get information about application number,download admit card

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 26th Mar, 2020

It is highly unlikely for an email not to work. Neverthless, if you do not have a functional email id, it is a problem because all the communication from VIT will happen at your registered email and mobile number. So to be honest, retrieving your application number without your email id might be difficult because the details will be sent to your email id . Please reach out to the helpline at: 0416-2202125 and 0416-3305555
