You have not mentioned the course yo may want to join after appearing in the qualifying exam.Mostly the admission proccess begin from June-August depending on the course.And Academic classes may start from August/September.So it is slightly difficult to get admission in the same if you are appear in the qualifying exam in October-November.Even result declaration will take time.So you may have to seek admission next year only.

No there won't be any problem until and unless you are applying for the course which you have failed in, i.e if you have failed in Biology (PCMB) then you can't apply for MBBS.

Coming to the CAT issue, let me tell that for the initial Calling in IIM L only 20% weightage is given to class 12th and Graduation remaining 80 is divided between CAT score(65%) and 15% (Work Exp.).

FMS Delhi gives CAT score a weightage of 95% or sometimes 100%

Dear Aspirant

The CLAT exam syllabus has changed this year and shift to more aptitude side then remembering things.

The no.of questions reduced from 200 to 120/125 but the time duration will be the same that is 2 hours.

Here are few tips for preparation you must follow to get a good score without coaching:-

English: Vocabulary questions will be asked. Word Power Made Easy
is the book you can use to improve your vocabulary.

High School Grammar and Composition ( by Wren and Martin)
It is a book  to improve the grammar skills.

GK: Question on current affairs will be asked. Read newspaper for CURRENT G.K. than trying to grasp all info at once. Some of the newspaper sources which you can use to prepare this section are The Hindu, Financial Express, and The Economist. You can also use some other apps like Inshorts etc for current affairs.

Mathematics: Only Data based questions will be asked. Like you have some information and questions on basis of that information.

Logical Reasoning: Data tables, Data Charts, Bar Diagrams, Pie Charts, Graphs, Data Comparison and Analysis. These are some of the topics on which you can expect questions.
