Hello Aspirant,
Since you have not mentioned that name of board for which you want to appear so it's quite difficult to guide you with an accurate information of dates, however there are so many educational boards which have not not released the time table or schedule for Board or pre-board exams of session 2020-21 so any exact date and mode(preferably it would be offline) cannot be predicted. However in this session too a slight delay will be observed in conducting Board exams due to the delay in starting the session because of global pandemic named COVID-19.
As of the latest news on board exams and other competitive exams our Hon'ble education minister Mr. Ramesh Pokhariyal Nishank was live on December 10th on his different social media accounts as a part of the campaign which seeks opinions from different students, teachers and parents regarding the conduction of upcoming examinations such as boards, JEE NEET and so on.
So many doubts have been asked using using #EducationMinisterGoesLive on twitter as well as Facebook and other social media sites. As the live session has been conducted and he told that some decision might be taken regarding the dates for upcoming examinations. Now on December 22nd again our Hon'ble education minister Mr. Ramesh Pokhariyal Nishank will be live at 4 PM on his social media accounts such as Twitter/FB, it is expected that he might announce the schedule for Board exams. So till then we have to wait for it. You can ask you queries on twitter or FB as well using #EducationMinisterGoesLive.
You can get all insights of the live webinar conducted by our Hon'ble Education Minister from the link given below :-

Greetings,
The 75% eligibility criteria is for the total aggregate that a candidate needs to score or be in the top 20 percentile of you respective board. Please do not confuse it with only PCM aggregate. It is the overall performance.

good luck
You have passed your 12th in 2020 but you are appearing for Improvement exams only to improve your percentage. So the year of "passing" will remain 2020. So while you are filling the JEE Mains application form, your Year of passing will be 2020. You will need the following documents to upload for JEE Mains:
there is a minimum eligibility criteria of 75% or top 20 percentile for general category and 65% for reserved category in your respective board exams in order to appear for JEE mains and advanced.
The 75% criteria is made up of 5 subjects (PCM=1 language with highest number+ optional subject)
You can check the full eligibility criteria here:
JEE Mains is the entrance examination for pursuing B.E and B.Tech. It is also for studying B.Arch. These courses are offered at Private Engineering Colleges, Government Run Engineering Colleges, NITs, IIITs and CFTIs. This is not for B.Sc. For B.Sc, the admission is based on the Institution's guidelines as to whether it accepts Merit based admissions or conducts its own entrance examination. To qualify for JEE Mains, there is no minimum aggregate criteria. But if you want to join NITs, IIITs or CFTIs then you should score a minimum aggregate of 75% only in your 12th. 11th marks aren't considered. And then to appear for JEE Advanced which is the gateway for admission to IITs, you will need to fulfill the 75% aggregate condition. Now it is 75% for General Category and 65% for Reserved Categories. So how much you score in 12th is what matters to secure your eligibility for NITs, IIITs, CFTIs and JEE Advanced.
Hello
