With reference to your above mentioned query, I would like to tell you that the basic eligibility criteria for candidates to appear in JEE mains exam is that he/she need to qualify class 12th from any recognized board or university.

National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the JEE Main 2022 eligibility criteria along with the official brochure. There are certain conditions and requirements that every JEE Main aspirant has to fulfill in order to get admission.

Further, the eligibility criteria for JEE mains is described as follows :

Qualifying exam -

• Students should have passed the 12th class or qualifying the exam in 2020 or 2021.

• Candidates appearing in 12th class or equivalent qualifying exams in 2022 can also apply.

Age Limit - No age limit to appear for JEE Main 2022 exam. Any student who has passed the 12th class or its equivalent exam in the year 2020, 2021, or appearing in 2022 can apply for the entrance exam.

Total number of attempts -

• Students can appear in the JEE Main exam for three consecutive years. The entrance test will be conducted four times a year.

Subjects -

• B.E/B.Tech: He/She should have passed the qualifying exam with Physics, Mathematics, and any one of (Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject).

• B.Arch: He/She should have passed the qualifying exam with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

• B.Plan: He/She should have passed the qualifying exam with Mathematics.

The latest notification by NIOS - National Institute of Open Schooling was released on January 12, 2022.

----- -But it was regarding the theory examination in the April May Cycle. The notification stated -

" National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) Board Exam dates are out and the public exam (theory) for Class 10th and 12th will commence from April 6, 2022."

------ You can expect the notification for practical exams very soon.
