Hello Aspirant,

No, your eligibility will be determined only with PCB combination and you should have minimum aggregate of 50% in PCB if you belongs to General category, for OBC/SC/ST it is 40% and for PwD it is 45%, if you have scored more than this then you are eligible for NEET 2022 but there are some other criteria which needs to be fulfilled :


** You must have passed 10+2 from any recognized central/state board.

** English should also be in your curriculum of class 12th and also you should have passed in it.

** You minimum age should be more that or equal to 17 years by December 31st 2022, as per the current eligibility criteria.

** As of now there is no upper age limit for NEET but the case is pending in Hon'ble SC and with time if the verdict comes then the upper age limit may be decided and it can be either 25 or as decided by SC.

How much marks is required in class 12 to be eligible for neet

Hello Aspirant,

Hope you are doing well.

The class 12 percentage required for NEET 2022 exam is separate for each category and can be listed as under. NEET eligibility marks in class 12 to be considered are aggregate marks only for PCB subjects

  • UR - 50%,

  • OBC/SC/ST - 40%,

  • PWD - 45%

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board.

  • Class 12 or equivalent appearing aspirants are also eligible to apply for NEET.

I am from general category.I got 62 marks in biology,90 in Physics and 87 in chemistry in my class 12.Would I face problem during neet counselling since I have less marks in biology?

Hello Aspirant,


Don't worry you won't face any problem for this matter because there is no such criteria for NEET counselling. If you are NEET UG qualified then you are eligible for NEET counselling. To qualify NEET UG, one should satisfy following conditions :-

******* Should have secured more than or equal to the NEET qualifying cut-off marks as released by NTA, also mentioned below for each category.

******* Should have secured minimum aggregate of 50% in PCB in class 12th which is satisfied by you already.

Yeah there are so many opportunities , in PCM field , as you asked that Your Maths and physics is not good then you can apply in B Pharmacy Ayurveda there is not any Maths and physics in this course . But here you have to deal with Biology and a bit Sanskrit.

  • Another BSc Agriculture -subjects are Plant Genetics, Agricultural Meteorology, Food Technology, Horticulture, Agronomy, Animal Husbandry, Entomology, Extension of Agriculture, Genetics, Soil Science, Agricultural Economics, Plant Breeding, Plant Pathology, Agriculture Engineering, Sericulture
  • Bio technology
  • Bio Informatics
    • BSc in Hotel Management

You can also apply for any BSc course and there after you can Join Civil services.

Or you can also eligible to apply in NDA but there are also age criteria so, just gaze it once.

  • Merchant Navy.
  • Pilot (Commercial/ Fighter)
  • You can also do BBA - Bachelors in Business Administration

Syllabus of class 12 accounts : accounts for partnership firms+accounts for company_35+25_, analysis of financial statement+cash flow statement 12+8, project work-20 total 100. The syllabus of class 12 Business Studies : significant top management, principle of management, business environment, financial management, marketing management, directing concept, staffing concept, planning, organising, controlling concept, consumer protection , project work. The theory marks is 80 in total  and the project works mark 20 in total100.

Class 12 maths syllabus : Relation and Functions -10, Algebra  -13, calculus -44, Vector& 3D geometry -17,leaner programming -6, probability - 10 total 100
