Hi,

For Panjab University admissions, the merit list is generally prepared using the prescribed weightage of the PU CET UG percentile and Class 12 board marks. The percentile score is considered for merit calculation rather than only the raw CET marks.

Generally:

No, unfortunately, qualifying PU CET (PG) is mandatory for admission to M.Sc. programs offered directly by Panjab University, Chandigarh.  This applies even if you filled out a general application form for PU.
