Dear Soniya,
If you are from a general category student then you have very less chance of getting any seat in PESSAT.
PES never releases the cutoff marks. Everything here is based on rank which you secure in PESSAT.
Hello dear,
i am very to inform you that your rank is very good and you can get admission in any branches but i suggest to go for computer branch according to your rank if you are thinking about future then it is also good.
i hope this will help you.
Since you haven't written from which branch perspective you are asking, I am taking the liberty and writing from computer science student perspective. I would rank PESIT number-1 followed by RVCE and Manipal. I'm writing below for PESIT.The quality of teachers is good and classes do happen (no mass bunk :P)! The quality of assignments and programming assignments in general is good and deadlines are taken strictly (You will be ready to combat pressures of corporate world)You will have good industry exposure, with people from corporate society visiting the campus and conducting workshops to offering internships. They actually have an in-campus company called "Ordell Ugo" which conducts proper corporate level interviews and offers jobs/internships and they are solving some interesting problems. In between all the studies they have fun too. We had something called "extended working day" activities which had antakshari, sack race and dumb charades which was on wednesdays (might have changed now)And placements no doubt is the best. Almost all the companies in Bangalore visit the campus.Hope this helps.
hello harshitha
the cut-off for seat allotment for PES on the basis of PESSAT closes around 6000 generally so, sorry to inform you that .
hope it helps
all the best
hello Ranganath
you have a fair shot for civil , Bio technology and a distinct possibility for mechanical as well on the condition that you wait for second round for the latter.
hello Rance
the closing rank for EEE in PES is around 1500 to 1600 so there aren't any chances for that. you have a shot at civil and bio technology and a worthwhile shot at mechanical as well.
Hello,
This is Simran from Careers360, I hope to solve your query.
PES University has released the result of PESSAT 2018. Candidates can check their result after submitting their registration number and date of birth. The online entrance exam of PESSAT 2018 was held from April 20 till May 10. The online application form of PESSAT 2018 was available from October 10, 2017 onwards. The registration/ application process of PESSAT 2018 included steps like selecting the course (B.Tech in this case), selecting the gender, entering a valid email ID, payment of registration fee, and uploading of photographs. Candidates who successfully completed the online registration process were able to participate in slot booking and could download the admit card of PESSAT 2018. Before filling the application form of PESSAT 2018, candidates had to go through the eligibility criteria of the exam to ensure they were eligible for admission. PESSAT 2018 was held on different dates in test centres spread across various cities in India. The question paper of PESSAT included a total of 160 questions over two sections. Section 1 was made up of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Section 2 tested students on English grammar. PESSAT didn't have negative marking. Questions were set from CBSE syllabus, with 70% and 30% weightage given to Class XI and XII syllabus respectively. Two rounds of PESSAT counselling 2018 will be held based on the candidate’s performance in PESSAT.
The cutoff of PESSAT 2018 will be determined by the exam conducting authority of PESSAT and is the minimum score required to be eligible for admission. Candidates who score below the PESSAT 2018 cutoff will not be considered for admission. Also, the cutoff of PESSAT 2018 will be determined separately for all the engineering departments. Considering the cutoff is determined by taking into account factors like the number of applicants and available seats, it may vary across departments.
I would suggest you wait for the new cutoffs, or have a quick look at the previous year cutoffs and trend analyis which will help you get a better idea of what you can expect and which branch is more suited or where you stand as an individual in the entire process.
Ihope this helped
All the best
