Yes PESSAT examinations are required for BBA courses also. It is mandatory and interview should also be attended on campus on the same day. To get admission in PES university institutes you have to compulsory qualify PESSAT for any courses.

PESSAT is an entrance test for admission into the undergraduate programmes of PES UNIVERSITY located in the state of Karnataka.The affiliated programmes of PES University include Engineering, Medicine, Management, Architecture ,Design and Law.

Examination is held in the month of April-May in ONLINE COMPUTER BASED MODE only.

Regarding preparation of merit list and scholarship, Merit list is prepared based on the marks scored in the entrance exam as well as performance in interview. However, NO SCHOLARSHIP IS PROVIDED TO ANYONE IN THE MERIT LIST.

Interestingly all seats of PES University is not filled by PESSAT. 60% seats are filled through PESSAT and 40% seats are filled through KCET(Karnataka Common Entrance Test).

Although PES UNIVERSITY does not give you a direct scholarship under PESSAT It does provide a provision for different types of scholarships after admission.

1.Research scholarship:- Students who are keen for research can work under a professor and are compensated for it.

2.Rural Scholarship:- The university offers free engineering education to several students of rural background every year.

3.Corporate Scholarship:- Some corporates also offer scholarships for certain students whose criteria is fixed by the corporates themselves .

Firstly, don't be hard on yourself. You can take up Manipal exam again. And I suggest that you do. The highest score will be taken for ranking.About PESSAT, it changes every year.I suggest that you put your heart and soul into it, go though the all the topics mentioned by PES for PESSAT. It's better if you can read through all the topics in depth. We had an English section, too. If that's still exists, go though basic grammar. We had questions like 'What's the nearest meaning of ______?". Be prepared for the same.

COMEDK and PESSAT is for the students of different states that is other than karnataka students can also participate in this exam.

But KCET is for the students who are studying in Karnataka and not for other state students.

And fees is very less if you get a seat through KCET but fee is high on comedk.so if you are a localite in Karnataka it is better to fill for KCET.

If you are from other state you are not eligible to write KCET.

Yeah.Nativity certificate is necessary for every candidate even candidates inside kerala for proving their nationality.It is to be produced before the entrance commissioner and is to be uploaded at the time of keam registration.For proving nationality any of the given below can be used.

Birth certificate

SSLC certificate(It can be used only if your place of birth is there in it)

OR digitally signed Nativity certificate from Akshaya
