I am sorry to say that your rank is low to get the CS or electronics branch in PES. To get CS or EE /EC up to final round you should have at least  2000 rank or less.

But with this rank, you may get branches such as civil, biotech or mechanical upto final round/ 2nd round.

you can get those branches so if you want then you can look up to these branches.

PES south campus is part of PSU from 2018 hence the overall no if seats availability in PSU is increased however 2018 barnch wise cut off is not available.

Your daughter might get biotechnology, but I can't be sure in which campus. The seats in biotechnology are very less so the probability is quite less but it is possible. 

So, i would better advice to fill it in her preference list but keep searching for alternate options aswell. However, the couselling process is quite unpredictable so nothing can be said with 100% accuracy.

I am sorry to say that It is difficult for you to get admission with your rank in PESSAT.

As per the previous year's cutoffs, you should have rank less than 6000 to get admission into PES University. so hard luck this time.

Since PES University has not declared the first round counselling ranks. Unfortunatelty according to previous year final round ranks which closed at 3000. You may not be able to get any branch in PES University.

Lakshman, it seems really difficult for the student to get admission in PES University.

Usually they stop taking students for admission after 3k rank in the final round. But it depends on the number of studens who appeared for the exam and as well as the difficulty of the paper. So you can still give it a try.

To get CS or EE /EC up to final round you should have at least  2000 rank or less. But don't worry you have at least other branches such as civil, biotech or mechanical so if you want then you can look upto these branches.
