PES Scholastic Aptitude Test
Hi Venkata Reddy,
As per your query of getting a seat in CSE group while attending the second round of counseling when you have rejected the seat in the first round then I must tell you that yes with a rank of 665 you have a great chance of getting a seat in CSE group because there are number of colleges offering seats in CSE group and at this rank it will be easily available.
Thank You.
As per the previous years cutoff you can expect electrical and electronics, mechanical, etc with this rank in pes university.
But you can't be able to get admission in computer science engineering with this rank in pessat.
But every year cutoff changes as the level of paper changes and many other factors change,so there is no certainty for this.

Hello Rishabh
CSE and ECE are most sought branches in PES and afterall PES is one of the prestigeuos private colleges for engineering.
So, as far as ECE is concerned the last years trend says that the closing rank for the same is near about 1500
But it wont get down to 5800 for sure. So this is difficult for you to get admission in ECE department in PES.
Hope that helps!

Hello Samarth,
According to the previous year's cutoff , the cut of rank for PESSAT CSE ring road campus was 920 as mentioned on website. This year the competition level is higher than it was last year. If you have secured 869 there is no need to worry in my opinion. You may get admission in CSE this year if you are extremely lucky. Otherwise you may opt for some other stream related to computer science such as Information technology, etc. All the very best!
