I have scored a rank of 3886. Can I get a seat for Computer Science or Electronics & Communication?

Hi, so basically if you scored the rank of 3886 , i'm assuming JEE mains, then you have alot of opportunities in alot of colleges.

You can apply for CSE in the following colleges, since the following colleges accept the rank under 10,000. The list of colleges are as follows:

NIT Warangal

MNIT Jaipur

MNNIT Allahabad

NIT Karnataka (Surathkal)

NIT Kurukshetra

NIT Rourkela

NIT Trichy

IIIT Gwalior

And the following colleges are for ECE with rank under 10,000:

MNIT Jaipur

MNNIT Allahabad

NIT Delhi

NIT Karnataka (Surathkal)

NIT Rourkela

NIT Trichy

NIT Warangal

SVNIT Surat

VNIT Nagpur

IIIT Allahabad

I have secured 1930 rank in pessat,what are the odds of getting cse in pes ecity(hosur road) campus,please someone reply.

Dear aspirant,

As you have mentioned that you have got 1930 rank in pessat and you are wanting to take cse in pes Hosur campus so let me tell you that the cut off usually stays below or upto 1k rank as per previous year trends.

But you stand fair chances of getting ece in this college. But let me tell you these things depends on certain factors like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs, difficulty level of the paper.

What branch can i get for 2773 rank in pessat?

Hii

As you have got a rank of 2773 in PESSAT 2021, you may not be able to get CSE in PES University. Usually, ECE seats get filled at 2500 in Ring Road campus. You can get ECE branch in other PES campuses.

You can get the following branches with your rank:
B. Tech Electrical and Electronics Engineering
B. Tech Mechanical Engineering
B. Tech Civil Engineering
B. Tech Biotechnology

Can we attend for PESSAT 2021 counseling round 2 without participating in round 1 ? Also how is the process of counseling?

Hello Aspirant

Yes. You can attend round 2 councelling without attending round 1 councelling for PESSAT 2021.
During the PESSAT counselling 2021, you will first have to register and then fill their preferred choices of courses. PESSAT seat allotment will be done on the basis of the ranks in PESSAT exam, your preferences and availability of seats. After allotment, you will be given four options for accepting the branches of your preferred choice.
Once a seat is alloted to you, authorities will collect the demand drafts of the PESSAT 2021 counselling participation and tuition fees which have to be kept ready beforehand.

My pessat rank is 988. Can I get in for cse?

Hello

You have likely chances to get Electronics and Communication Engineering in Ring Road campus through PESSAT as this is the most preferred campus. Usually the seats for ECE branch gets filled around a rank of 2000. As your rank is 2200 you very less chances to get a seat in ECE branch.
With your rank you can try for other branches like Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical or Civil Engineering. You can get these branches for sure only if you are interested in these fields.
