The Mahatma Gandhi University will start the MGU CAT 2026 admission process from April. A bachelor’s degree in Malayalam with a minimum of 45% marks or CGPA of 1.8 in Part III or a degree in Arts/ Science with minimum of 50% marks or CGPA of 2 in Part II Malayalam to satisfy the eligibility criteria for MGU CAT 2025.


M.Sc Biochemistry, M.Sc Biotechnology, M.Sc Microbiology, M.Sc Biophysics

B.Sc qualification in Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry or Physics with at least 50% marks or CGPA of 2 in Part III.

M.Sc Chemistry (Inorganic Chemistry), (Organic Chemistry), (Physical Chemistry), (Polymer Chemistry)

B.Sc degree in Chemistry with Mathematics and Physics as a subsidiary subject with at least 50% marks or CGPA of 2 in Part III.

M.Sc Environment Science and Disaster Management

B.Sc degree in any subject with minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.

M.Sc Physics, Specialization in Astrophysics, Theoretical Physics, Material Science, Applied Electronics


B.Sc degree in Physics with Mathematics as a subsidiary subject with at least 50% marks or its equivalent CGPA.


M.Sc. Chemistry (Inorganic Chemistry)


B.Sc degree in Chemistry with Mathematics and Physics as subsidiaries with not less than 50 percent marks in Part III.


Master of Tourism and Travel Management Specialization in Aviation Management, Tour Operations, and Health Tourism


The candidate must be a holder of a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks in any discipline of the MGU University or any other university recognized by Mahatma Gandhi University.
