Can i appear for both the examinations, that is B.A. LLB(Hons) and B.A. LLB(Self Financed)?

Akansha Sharma 10th Dec, 2024

Yes, you can appear for both B.A. LL.B. (Hons) and B.A. LL.B. (Self-Financed) programs if the institution conducting the entrance examination allows multiple applications for different courses. However, you must meet the eligibility criteria for both programs and complete separate application processes if required. Ensure you carefully read the admission guidelines provided by the university or institute to avoid conflicts in the examination schedule or application requirements.

Sir i have got 74 percentile in jee maims 2019, i am obc Muslim and i got 95 marks in three main subjects PCM.so can i get admission in JMI?

Rishie Chandan 29th May, 2019

Dear Najnin Tabassum,

Since, you are a Muslim from OBC category, you have a 10% reservation.

The cut off marks for B.Tech degree in JMI for various branches for Muslim OBC candidate  is as follows :

Civil Engineering : 153

Computer Science Engineering : 175

Electrical Engineering : 154

Electronics and Communication Engineering : 154

Mechanical Engineering : 169

One can't accurately predict whether you will get a seat or not by looking at your percentile. Please go through the above cutoff marks and see if you have the required mark.

Hope my answer helped, feel free to ask more doubts.

What is the difference between JMI BA LLB and JMI BA LLB Self Financed?

yash 27th May, 2019

In Jamia all the regular courses are finance by the central government . So you have to pay the less fee in any of the regular course and selection procedure and entrance is also difficult as compare to the self finance.

But in all the self finance course the fee is high just comparable with private college and selection procedure is also not so difficult.

On the other hand faculty is same, department is same, library is same, course is same in both of the courses how ever college timing exam timing may differ.

Hope you got the answer you are looking for thank-you.
