Jamia Millia Islamia Entrance Examination
I'm sorry but the last date to apply for the BA LLB course in Jamia Millia Islamia was 29th April 2019. You can still apply in other law colleges.
As JMI didn't announced the cutoff marks for the entrance exams and it differs from year to year depending upon the question paper. But if one have done 80% or above correctly, the chances of selections are high. If around 60-70% your chances gets reduced but you may or may not get selected. If below 60% the chances are quite low. Now you also have reservation quota in which 50% seats are reserved for muslims i.e 30% of total seats will be reserved if Muslim from general category, 10%of total seats are reserved if Muslim woman and 10% if total seats if Muslim from obc category. Well, good luck for your future ahead. Hope this helped you!
The results of any courses in JMI are not yet announced and is said to be released before 10th of July 2019. Results of all the different courses will be published on their official website that is given below- http://jmicoe.in/, https://www.jmi.ac.in/.

Hii Kaveri
Jamia Millia Islamia is a central university as well as a minority institution . Jamia Millia ISalmia has reservations for the students of the Muslim religion and others are treated as general cateogory irrespective of their caste. For qualifying for Jamia's English honours course you would require around 80+ marks to be on the safe side while getting admissions in the first list as it is. You can reach out to me for any further admission queries, entrance test syllabus, Important dates etc.
Hope it helps
Thanks
Greetings Mohammad!
Hope you're doing great.
I hope you must have gone through the eligibility-related details through JMI portal. The minimum eligibility criteria to take admission into any of the undergraduate programs at JMI is 50% marks aggregate in five subjects. It means since you've mentioned that you have got 44 marks in mathematics then it will become a hurdle if you've scored 50 aggregate marks.
Since you have asked the question in Media and communication tab then I assume you want to take admission into undergraduate BA(Hons) program in journalism. The eligibility criteria remain the same for that as well. However, you have to appear for entrance examination separately and based on that a merit list will be prepared for the successful student who will be called for the next Group discussion and Personal Interview round. Based on marks obtained in the above steps, you will be granted admission.
Hope, things are clear now. Do reach out in the comment section below if you need any help. :)
All the best!
