JAM 2019 exam will be conducted in two sessions for seven papers. Session 1 will include Biological Sciences, Mathematics and Physics.
Session II will include Mathematical Statistics, Biotechnology, Chemistry and Geology, The entrance examination will be conducted for a total of three hours each.

So you can appear for IIT JAM in the final year of Your studies. that is you can give JAM
