Dear Anil, for M.Sc Applied Geology, you should have studied Geology for 3 years/six semesters and any 2 subjects among Physics, Chemistry, Biological Science and Mathematics. It is mandatory to have studied Mathematics at 10+2 level. Even for M.Sc (Tech) in Applied Geology, you should have studied B.Sc with Geology

Yes,It is compulsory to have mathematics in 10+2 in order to apply in IIT JAM with Geology.
In graduation you should have geology as a subject and any 2 subject among Physics,Chemiistry and Maths.
So,if you don't have maths in 12 you are not eligible to applyin IIT
