You are surely eligible for the IIT JAM exam in 2023. The reason being is that there is no as such compulsion for candidates to appear for the exam in the last year of their graduation or just after completing their graduation. Many students undergo drop for better preparation for this exam. So, you can definitely go for preparing and acing this exam.
Also, for the Biotechnology stream, candidates from any branch/subject are eligible for the program. However, candidates need to have Biology compulsory at the class 12 level.

As per the official website of IIT JAM 2022, there are no upper age limit/maximum gap year mentioned. Thus, if you wish to go for the IIT JAM 2023 after the 6 year gap then there is no problem and you can appear for the examination undoubtedly. The papers available in the IIT JAM examination are-

Yes you can give IIT JAM exam. As long as you have at least 60% aggregate marks (gen/ews/obc) or 55% (AC,st,pwd) in the qualifying degree.

You need to get very excellent marks to get into IIT Bombay's MSc Physics programme. The best scorers are given admission to the programme at IIT Bombay's UR seat. In order to get a seat in the UR category, I would advise you to aim for a rank of roughly AIR 1-70. For the best chance of getting into IIT Bombay, try to earn at least a 60 on your IIT JAM physics exam. Moreover if you don't have confidence in your preparation level for 2023, then going for 2024 is always a great idea!

Yes you can appear for the JAM 2022. Candidates should be graduated to appear in the JAM 2022 . Candidates studying in the last year of their graduation can also apply for the IIT JAM 2022. For the last two years along with this year, the criterion of minimum marks was taken off, and it was mentioned that the student need to pass their BSc course to be eligible for the admission in IIT's/NIT's/CFTI's. Now as the condition is improving day by day, from next year, the minimum eligibility criteria may again be made effective.
So you should try to score above 55% or 6.0 CGPA in order to be eligible for the examination. The score of degree is only required for eligibility and there is no influence of that score for admission. The admission to the course will be entirely on the basis of IIT JAM merit score.
