As in Economics(Hons) it has a lot of math-related subject so I believe it would be challenging for someone who is unfamiliar with the maths taught in 11th and 12th grade to take up this course. As a result, no reputed university offers an economics Hons degree without a math as a prerequisite.

So with regard to your query, you had mentioned that you are wishing to get admission into DTU (Delhi Technological University), for the purpose of getting admission into this college you need to write the JEE Mains exam, because admissions are granted through JAC Delhi counselling basing upon the marks scored in JEE Mains exam.
So, in order to qualify for the JEE Mains you need to score 60% of aggregate marks in your 10+2. So, you need to score 60% of aggregate marks in 12th Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, because it is the eligibility prescribed by Delhi JAC counselling.

The eligibility criteria for BMS/BBA FIA in Delhi University is passed 10+2 from a recognized board with mathmatics, english and any two subjects listed in the elective subjects list of university of delhi securing 60% aggregate, relaxation in terms of aggregate is offered to reserve categories, so if you have not studied mathematics at 10+2 level then you're not eligible for these courses, the admission process has changed but the eligibility criteria remains the same,
