The students who fail in more than two exams are notified as ‘failed’ and the students who fail two or fewer subjects are tagged as ‘compartmental’ during the announcement of the final board exam results.

As per the rule till now, the results contained the word compartment, but CBSE has proposed to establish a rule of not using the words like failed or compartment on the results as the students face a lot of pressure and are demotivated by use of such words therefore, it might happen that from this year the results will not have the words such as compartment or Failed on them.

The basic eligibility requirement for B.Com. degree in Professional students is to have successfully passed 12th Standard/HSC/10+2 (or equivalent Level of Examination) from any recognized Board with a minimum aggregate usually 50% or more depending on the university you are going to take admission.

If you may be failing by a couple of marks or so, then you may be given grace marks. However, it's not guaranteed. Most often, whether or not you will be given grace marks depends on the teacher correcting your paper, and also depends on the teachers compiling your mark sheet.

Generally there will be 3 rounds of admission for Holkars and the first round cut off is usually at 85%. Going by previous years data, B.Sc Computer Science had a cut off of 85%, Electronics had 80%, Statistics had 81.2% Microbiology had 80%. Now this is for General Category. But cut offs depend on various factors such as no.of Students applied, top score, no.of seats available in each stream, etc. So you need to have a minimum aggregate of 85-95% in your 12th.

If you want to pursue Engineering after diploma you need to study in regular mode.B.tech degree through correspondence mode is invalid now.You cannot get employment with your degree certificate if you have done B.tech through correspondence.You have to join in a college in a regular mode through lateral entry admission.

Each state conducts its own entrance exam for lateral entry also there are colleges which gives admission based on marks in diploma.

If you ever get compartment in only one subject then you can simply appear for he compartment exam and then if you qualify the exam then you have passed class 12th so no need to take it seriously, even if you get compartment in two subjects then also you can take benefits as the same way.

To get admission in any bachelor's degree you must have passed in 10+2 or its equivalent from a regonized board or university.You must pass in all subjects in which you have appeared in the qualifying exam.You cannot admission if you fail in one subject.You need to reappear in the respective subject and pass in order to be eligible.

There is no course which guarantees job , whatever u learn if u learn efficiently and keep progressing then surely u will be placed
