Hi Shubham,
There is particular criteria of JEE for OBC category students that is the minimum percentage required for admission in IIT or NIT and giving the JEE advanced exam. The minimum percentage required for OBC and general category is same that is 75% is the minimum percentage required of CBSE board student. If you want to enter in any college except IIT or NIT by giving JEE mains then you should fulfill the criteria of the particular college which you want.
I hope your question has been answered properly.
All the best for your future!

Hi
Both the books Oswal and exam idea are good.
Oswal is good because it includes the following points.
1) It includes both the sample papers and question bank for the exam.
2) It includes points with the revised syllabus of CBSE and with covering all the topics related to the subject.
3) It also includes the previous year board question papers and question.
Exam idea is also good and maximum number of students prefer that book too. Exam idea has many types of questions easy, hard, short, long, etc.
Hello
Your question paper will be of 80 marks only but still , you will not have to give 20 marks test for internal or something like that .
Marks scored by you out of 80 will be converted into marks out of 100 . For example if you score 80 out of 80 , your marks will be 100.
If you get 60 out 80 marks then your marks will be = 60/80 x100
=75 marks out 100.
Thank you
