Dear sir or mam Is CBSE provide grace marks in maths and physics for Class 12 student in 2020?

lakshita shaan 14th Apr, 2020
Hey ayush,
CBSE do not claim to provide grace marks to student appeared for 12th board examination ,there is no such policy However CBSE offers a policy to do lenient marking if the question paper called tough or the responses say that paper was tough then there is a bit relaxation to students that they will be awarded atleast someone marks to questions they have attempted .
This year student said that the physics exam was lengthy and difficult.
Good luck for result!

I am a class 12 student. my exams are done but all the cbse exams are not finished. so, will there any delay in the declaration of results. and what for the admission in colleges after lockdown will over.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 14th Apr, 2020
Hello

Yes CBSE results will be delayed as all the exams have not been conducted yet and these exams will be conducted after the lockdown period so it will take time for the results and so it will be delayed.

Now coming to admission in colleges, it will be also delayed due to the coronavirus outspread and lockdown.
For example many entrance examination like JEE, NEET etc has been postponed, many universities like Delhi University etc has also postponed the release of the application form, so because of all these admission will also get delayed.

I hope that you find this helpful

is there any need to read class 11 and class 12 bio ,physics and maths for civil services

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 13th Apr, 2020
Hi Himansh

No , there is no need to study physics, chemistry, Mathematics and Biology etc in your 10 + 2 education to be eligible for civil services examination like UPSC etc

You can choose any stream of your choice based on your interest in your 10+2 and your graduation,
This is because,
To be eligible for civil services examination like UPSC or the IAS examination there is no compulsion to be a graduate in a particular subject, all you need to be eligible is that you should be a graduate in any discipline

So you can choose any stream of your interest in your 10+2 and graduation, but yes if you are interested in Arts then choosing Arts or the humanities as your stream can be really helpful for your UPSC or the IAS examination, this is because in Arts you will be learning subjects like history , polity etc which are a part of the UPSC syllabus so it will help you in your upsc examination.
