To apply for admission to B.Ed courses at universities in Andhra Pradesh, students must meet certain eligibility requirements. Those who are eligible can submit their application through the official website by completing the AP EDCET application form. The eligibility criteria for AP EDCET 2024 are as follows:

1. Nationality: Candidates should be Indian nationals.

2. Local/Non-Local Status: Candidates must fulfill the local/non-local status criteria as specified in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order 1974, along with any subsequent amendments.

3. Educational Qualifications:

(a) For the application submission of AP EDCET 2024, candidates should have completed or be in the final year of their B.A./B.Sc./B.Sc. (Home Science)/B.Com./ B.C.A./B.B.M./BE/B.Tech programs. It is necessary to provide mark memos and pass certificates during the admissions process.

(b) Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA in their Bachelor's Degree (B.A./B.Sc./B.Sc. (Home Science)/B.Com./B.C.A./B.B.M) or in the relevant subject's Post-Graduate Degree. Alternatively, candidates may have completed a 5-year integrated course in the relevant subject of methodology or possess any other equivalent qualification. However, candidates belonging to reserved categories (S.C., S.T., B.C.(A/B/C/D/E)) or those who are physically handicapped need to have secured a minimum of 40% marks or an equivalent CGPA in the qualifying examination.

(c) It's important to note that candidates who have passed B.E/B.Tech. (with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA) and have studied mathematics and physics are eligible for admission into the course in Math Methodologies.

AP EDCET Age Limit: Applicants must have reached the age of 19 by July 1st of the year when the notification is released. There is no maximum age requirement.

AP EDCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria: Choice of Subject under Part- C

The AP EDCET  is conducted for admission into B.Ed. programme in colleges across the state of Andhra Pradesh. The eligibility criteria for choosing a subject under Part-C are as follows:

Andhra University released the AP EDCET application form on April 18. The application form for AP EDCET  2024 was available at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. Candidates who are interested in taking admission into BEd courses at Andhra Pradesh universities or colleges are required to fill and submit the AP EDCET application form before the deadline. 

Steps to fill AP EDCET application form 2024

Step 1: Registration

• To start your registration process, visit the official website of AP EDCET. 

• Look for the 'Apply for AP EDCET 2024' option and click on it to create a new account. 

• You will be redirected to a new page where you will have to fill in the required details.

• Enter your personal information, educational qualifications, and other necessary details correctly.

•  After filling in all the information, double-check for any errors and click on the 'Submit' button.

• Once submitted, you will receive a registration number and password on your registered email address and phone number

• You can log in to your account using this registration number and password for any future updates or changes.

Step 2: Paying the Fees

Candidates are required to make a payment in order to submit their application form successfully.

• Log in to the candidate portal using the registration number and password provided during registration.

• Once logged in, click on the link that says 'Pay Application Fee'.

• You will be given the option to make payment through various modes such as AP Online, Credit Card, or Debit Card.

• Choose the suitable payment mode for fee payment.

• Upon selecting the payment mode, you will be redirected to the payment gateway page.

• Enter all the necessary details, such as card number, expiry date, CVV, etc.

• Check all the details carefully and then proceed for payment.

• Once the payment is successfully processed, a fee receipt will be generated.

• Make sure to print the fee receipt for future reference.

Step 3: Application Form

• Begin by logging into your account using the provided application ID.

• Once you have successfully logged in, proceed with the application process.

• Fill out your personal information accurately, including your parents' names, gender, category, and preferred exam centre.

• Make sure to provide correct and up-to-date contact details, such as your mailing address and mobile number.

• Include your academic details, such as your educational background.

• Before moving on to the next step, double-check all the information you have provided.

• Click on the 'Save & Next' button to continue with the application process.

Step 4: Uploading Documents

• Upload scanned copies of recent passport-size photographs and signatures as per the specifications mentioned in the brochure.

•  Take your time to ensure the quality and size requirements are met before uploading.

Step 5: Confirming Your Application

• Once the AP EDCET 2024 application form has been completed and submitted, candidates should print a copy for future use.

AP EDCET Application Fee 2024

The application fee for AP EDCET 2024 will depend on the category of the applicant. This fee is non-refundable and must be paid in online mode only.

AP EDCET 2024 Application Fee

Candidates preparing for the AP EDCET examination have to go through the exam pattern. The AP EDCET 2024 exam pattern provides essential details about the exam, including the number of questions, total marks, test duration, marking scheme, and covered topics. The AP EDCET consists of three sections: Part A, Part B, and Part C. All candidates are required to complete Part A and Part B, while for Part C, they must select one out of five subjects.

Andhra University issued the AP EDCET 2024 admit card on May 30, on its official website. Candidates could access the AP EDCET admit card link in online mode at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.  The AP EDCET hall ticket contains details such as the candidate's name, registration ID, date of birth, category, photograph, signature, exam schedule, exam time, and instructions for the exam.

How to Download AP EDCET 2024 Hall Ticket

• Go to the official website of AP EDCET.

• Look for the "EDCET Hall Ticket Download 2024" tab and click on it.

• Enter your payment reference ID and application number in the provided fields.

• Double check the details entered and click on the "Download Hall Ticket" tab.

• Your AP EDCET 2024 hall ticket will be displayed on the screen.

• Download and print two to three copies of the admit card.

• Keep the admit card in a safe place for future use.

Andhra University has released the AP EDCET 2024 answer key after the completion of the exam on June 15, along with response sheet and question papers.  The university also started the AP EDCET objection window 2024. The AP EDCET answer key provides accurate answers to all the questions asked in the exam, as well as the points allotted for each question. With the help of the answer key, candidates can compare their responses with the correct ones and gauge their performance in the exam. Additionally, the answer key of AP EDCET gives them an idea of the type of questions asked and the level of difficulty of the exam. 

The university has announced the AP EDCET 2024 result on its official website. All those students who took the AP EDCET exam can view their results by logging into the university's login portal with their credentials. The AP EDCET results 2024 include details such as the name of the candidate, roll number, category rank and overall merit rank. The AP EDCET mert list is prepared based on the results. Candidates can download AP EDCET rank card 2024 by entering their login details.

AP EDCET Qualifying Marks

The minimum passing score for the AP EDCET is 37 out of the total marks (25%), except for candidates from the SC/ST communities who have no minimum requirement. Women in the Physical Sciences/Mathematics methodologies category are not subject to any minimum qualifying marks.

AP EDCET 2024 Tie Breaking

1. Candidates will be evaluated and ranked according to their performance in the AP EDCET 2024 examination.

2. The ranking will be based on the total marks obtained by the candidates in the AP EDCET examination.

3. In case of a tie in total marks, the marks obtained in Part-C of the examination will be used to determine the relative ranking.

4. If there is still a tie after considering Part-C marks, the marks obtained in Part-A will be used to decide the relative ranking.

5. If candidates have equal marks in all parts of the test, they will be grouped together for the purpose of ranking.

6. Age will be taken into consideration when ranking candidates within a tie group.

7. Older candidates will be given priority in case of a tie in marks.

8. This ranking will be used for admission into the course.

APSCHE has issued the AP EDCET phase 2 seat allotment 2024 on September 28.  Applicants whose names appear on the AP EDCET merit list 2024 are invited to attend the counselling session. The AP EDCET 2024 web options phase 2 started on September 23. Students could exercise the web options of AP EDCET 2024 till September 25. The AP EDCET web options edit options were closed on September 26. The AP EDCET 2024 phase 2 counselling registration started from September 19, in online mode.  Students could register for AP EDCET 2024 counselling phase 2 till September 21. 

All relevant information, including the date and location of the counselling, will be provided on the AP EDCET merit list. Candidates will compete against each other in their respective categories and subcategories. If a candidate from a reserved category is chosen for an unreserved seat, the remaining seats in that category will remain unfilled. During the counselling, candidates must bring their documents for verification and pay the necessary fee. Failure to attend the AP EDCET counselling session in 2024 will result in disqualification from the admission process.
