The IIHS 2026 eligibility criteria is the minimum qualification every candidate must have in order to be able to apply for admission. Students who have completed graduation from a recognised university in any field of study are eligible to apply for IIHS exam 2026. The age limit for IIHS entrance 2026 is 35 years as on August 1, 2026.

The IIHS 2026 admission process consists of a few steps. First, students are required to appear in IIHS entrance exam. The institution then publishes the list for shortlisted candidates who are required to appear for the interview round. Students who secure a place in the final merit list are then required to complete the document verification process and pay the fees to complete the admission process.
The IIHS entrance exam 2026 is a three hour exam which consists of multiple choice questions. The MCQ section consists of two parts, general section, and advanced section. The general section consists of questions related to reading comprehension, basic math, data interpretation, and logical reasoning; the advanced section consists of questions related to urban systems, sustainability, governance, and climate change. Students can choose which questions to answer in the advanced section based on their personal preference. There is also an essay section IIHS entrance where students are required to write two essays.

The IIHS entrance 2026 consists of two parts, first one has reading comprehension, basic math and logical reasoning; and the second part has knowledge-based questions across themes of the Master’s programmes. All the questions in the first and second part are multiple choice questions. In the last part of IIHS entrance, students are required to write two essays.
Based on the IIHS exam scores, students are shortlisted for the online 30 minute interview rounds. Students are required to secure at least 40% minimum combined marks from the essay and interview round.
