    What is West Bengal BEd Admission 2026?

    West Bengal B.Ed Admission 2026 is the online admission process for candidates who want to pursue a Bachelor of Education degree in colleges affiliated with BSAEU. The West Bengal BEd admission process is conducted through the university’s online portal. Candidates are required to enter their academic and personal details, upload a photograph and signature, submit the form and complete fee payment. After West Bengal BEd applications are processed, the university publishes subject-wise merit lists and college wise seat information.

    West Bengal BEd Admission 2026: Eligibility Criteria

    The WB BEd 2026 eligibility criteria is an important part of the admission process. Candidates should check the official admission notification for the final rules.     Candidates must meet the following requirements:

    • They should be graduates in a school subject from a recognised university.

    • Candidates with at least 50% marks in a Bachelor's degree (Honours/General) or a Master's degree in a school subject are eligible to apply.

    • Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology, with Science and/or Mathematics and 55% marks, or an equivalent qualification, are also eligible.

    • Engineering and Technology candidates must enter their B.E./B.Tech. marks in the Honours Degree row. If they have an M.E./M.Tech. result, it should be entered in the Master's Degree row.

    • Honours graduates should enter only their Honours marks in the Bachelor's degree (Honours) row.

    • General graduates should enter their total marks in the Bachelor's degree (General) row.

    • For candidates with less than 50% marks in the Honours degree, the total marks of pass and Honours subjects will be considered. If the combined score is 50% or more, it should be entered in the Graduation (General) row

    West Bengal BEd Reservation Rules

    Candidates belonging to reserved categories should check the applicable reservation and relaxation rules in the official WB BEd admission notice. They may be required to submit valid category certificates during WB BEd 2026 counselling.

    West Bengal BEd Registration Process 2026

    The WB BEd 2026 registration process started at the BSAEU admission portal. Candidates should use the official website and follow the instructions given for the 2026 to 28 session.

    Step 1: Visit the Official Website

    Go to the BSAEU website and open the B.Ed. Online Application link. The official portal provides access to the WB BEd application process and related admission information.

    Step 2: Read the Instructions

    Step 3: Fill in Academic Details
