WB DElEd Eligibility Criteria 2025

Applicants must visit the West Bengal DElEd eligibility sections before applying for the WB registration 2025. Only the eligible candidates are allowed to take admission in the participating institutions. The WB DElEd 2025 eligibility criteria includes academic criteria and age limit.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants must pass the 12 or its equivalent from a recognised board.

• They must secure 50% in HS for the general candidates. A relaxation of 5% is provided to the candidates of reserved category.

• Candidates belonging to PH/Ex-servicemen category shall be entitled to 5% relaxation of marks for such admission.

Age Limit

• Minimum age requirement for the candidates is 18 years.

• The maximum age requirement for the general category is 35 years. While for the reserved category it is 40 years.

Others

• An applicant selects a Hindi/ Urdu/Nepali/Santhali medium Institute for admission, he/she/it must have studied Hindi/ Urdu/Nepali/Santhali in his/her/it Higher Secondary (+2) or its equivalent examination.

• They must have English as a second language.
