IIT JAM opening and closing ranks 2024 - IIT Madras will release the IIT JAM 2024 opening and closing ranks on its official website tentatively in May. IIT JAM opening and closing ranks 2024 will be released after the announcement of the IIT JAM results. The JAM opening and closing ranks will differ based on the subjects chosen by the candidates. IIT JAM 2024 was held in online mode.
Through this IIT JAM examination, candidates will gain admission to M.Sc programmes There will be separate IIT JAM opening and closing ranks for general, SC/ST, and OBC candidates. For each of the participating institutions, the JAM opening and closing ranks for 2024 will be announced in four rounds. Based on the opening and closing ranks, the candidates will be invited for IIT JAM counselling . The authorities will conduct the Joint Admission Test 2024 for admission to MSc and further MSc programmes at IITs and IISc Bangalore. Candidates must achieve ranks between the opening and closing ranks of JAM in order to be accepted into the JAM programme 2024. The JAM 2024 opening and closing ranks are the ranks at which admissions are offered in the JAM participating institutions. The IIT JAM opening and closing rank trends for 2024 include the results from past years, and they will provide students with an indication of the scores they need to achieve to be admitted to the MSc programmes offered by the IITs and IISc Bangalore.

In essence, the candidate with the highest opening rank gets admitted first, while the candidate with the lowest closing score is admitted last. Eligible applicants can apply for the postgraduate and integrated PhD programmeme in the M.Sc at IITs and other universities accepting JAM scores with IIT JAM opening and closing rank 2023.In the form of first, second, third, and fourth admission, IIT JAM opening and closing rank lists were released for the year 2023. The listings were released in a format that included categories, colleges, and courses.

As per the eligibility criteria released by IIT Roorkee for JAM 2022 you would be considered as eligible for JAM 2023 (JAM 2023 eligibility criteria would hardly have some changes) because as per the eligbility criteria if you want to pursue M.Sc.- Ph.D. Dual Degree in Operations Research from IIT Bombay then you should  have Mathematics or Statistics for at least two years/ four semesters and you have mentioned in the question that you had studies Mathematics for 2 years during your Bachelor's programme, so you would be eligible.
