AMU Eligibility Criteria 2019 – Aligarh Muslim University has released the AMU 2019 eligibility criteria along with the notification. Candidates who wish to appear for the B.A, B.Com and B.Sc programmes offered by the university can check here the eligibility criteria of AMU 2019. AMU Entrance test is conducted through both Admission tests and Departmental tests. AMU eligibility criteria 2019 mention the minimum marks required by candidates who wish to appear for the Admission test to be conducted for the courses provided by the university. As per the AMU 2019 eligibility criteria candidates must have a minimum of 50 to 55 percent in their qualifying exam. AMU 2019 will be conducted on April 7, 2019. Candidates must note that those who do not fulfill the eligibility requirements mentioned for each of the courses will not be considered for AMU 2019. AMU Eligibility Criteria 2019 - Academic Qualification
B.A. (Hons) Foreign Languages
Senior Secondary School Certificate or an equivalent examination with minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate
B.Sc. (Hons) Botony, Zoology, Biochemistry
Senior Secondary School Certificate equivalent with minimum 55 percent marks aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics.
For admission to B.Sc. (Hons.) with Botany/Zoology as Main Subject, the candidate must have passed Biology in the qualifying examination.
B.Sc (Hons) Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Geography, Geology, Statistics, Industrial Chemistry, Computer Applications
Senior Secondary School Certificate equivalent examination with minimum 55 percent marks aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics.
For admission to B.Sc. (Hons.) with Physics / Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Applications as Main Subject, the candidate must have passed Mathematics at the qualifying examination.
Senior Secondary School Certificate equivalent examination minimum 50 percent marks aggregate in English and three Subjects amongst Accountancy, Arabic, Banking, Biology, Biotechnology, Business Organization, Business Studies, Chemistry, Commerce, Computer Science, Economics, Education, English, Fine Arts, Geography, Hindi, History, Home Science, Islamic Studies, Mathematics, Persian, Philosophy, Physical Health Education, Physics, Political Science /Civics, Psychology, Sanskrit, Sociology, Statistics, Urdu and Modern Indian Languages (Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi and Kashmiri).
Candidates must have Degree/Sanad from recognized Madarsa/Institution with minimum 50 percent marks
Candidates must have completed a bridge course (for Graduates of Deeni Madaris) from AMU with minimum 50 percent marks.
Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Commerce) or equivalent examination with minimum 55 percent marks aggregate in English and Accounts and two subjects from amongst Economics, Business Studies, Business Organization, Commerce, Banking, Entrepreneurship, Mathematics and/or Statistics.
Candidates must have completed their diploma in Secretarial Practice examination of this University with not less than 55% marks (in theory subjects only) aggregate.
B.Sc (Hons) Home Science
Senior Secondary School Certificate or equivalent with minimum 55 percent marks aggregate in English and three subjects from amongst Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Home Science.
Bachelors Degree under 10+2+3 pattern of education in Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences (for those who have studied Chemistry as one of the subsidiary subjects may also be considered eligible), Agriculture, Veterinary Sciences, and/or a Bachelors degree in Engineering and Technology (B. Tech.) or Medicine (M.B.B.S.) or B. Pharma with minimum 55 percent marks.
Candidates who have successfully completed M.Sc. I year in relevant discipline with minimum 55 percent marks
Candidates who have obtained B.Sc. degree under pattern of education other than 10+2+3.
M.A. Social Work
Candidates must have completed B.A. / B. Sc. / B. Com. / B.S.W. / B. Tech. / B. Arch. / B.E. / M.B.B.S. / B.D.S. / B.R.T.T. / B.U.M.S. / B.B.A. / B.C.A. / B.A.LL.B. with minimum 50 percent marks aggregate.

AMU Eligibility criteria 2019 – Important Points
Candidates who wish to appear for AMU 2019 must make sure that thy fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned for the subject of their choice.
Candidates attending the final year of the UG or PG programmes can also attempt the AMU 2019 entrance test.
PwD candidates will be provided with a relaxation in the age limit up to a maximum of five years in admission for only those courses which prescribe a maximum age limit.
