AMU Eligibility Criteria 2020 - The AMU 2020 eligibility criteria will be released by Aligarh Muslim University along with the admission notification in the first week of February 2020. The eligibility criteria of AMU 2020 consist of minimum scores/degree that a candidate is supposed to score to sit for AMU entrance exam. Candidates who wish to appear for UG and PG courses offered by the university must go through the AMU eligibility criteria 2020. The university will set a criterion according to which candidates will be judged if they are eligible for AMU 2020 or not. There are both academic as well as age-based eligibility criteria of AMU 2020 set by the varsity.

B.A. (Hons) Foreign Languages
Senior Secondary School Certificate or an equivalent examination with minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate
B.Sc. (Hons) Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry
Senior Secondary School Certificate equivalent with minimum 55 percent marks aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics.
For admission to B.Sc. (Hons.) with Botany/Zoology as Main Subject, the candidate must have passed Biology in the qualifying examination.
B.Sc (Hons) Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Geography, Geology, Statistics, Industrial Chemistry, Computer Applications
Senior Secondary School Certificate equivalent examination with minimum 55 percent marks aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics.
For admission to B.Sc. (Hons.) with Physics / Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Applications as Main Subject, the candidate must have passed Mathematics at the qualifying examination.
Senior Secondary School Certificate equivalent examination minimum 50 percent marks aggregate in English and three Subjects amongst Accountancy, Arabic, Banking, Biology, Biotechnology, Business Organization, Business Studies, Chemistry, Commerce, Computer Science, Economics, Education, English, Fine Arts, Geography, Hindi, History, Home Science, Islamic Studies, Mathematics, Persian, Philosophy, Physical Health Education, Physics, Political Science /Civics, Psychology, Sanskrit, Sociology, Statistics, Urdu and Modern Indian Languages (Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi and Kashmiri).
Candidates must have Degree/Sanad from recognized Madrasa/Institution with minimum 50 percent marks
Candidates must have completed a bridge course (for Graduates of Deeni Madaris) from AMU with minimum 50 percent marks.
Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Commerce) or equivalent examination with minimum 55 percent marks aggregate in English and Accounts and two subjects from amongst Economics, Business Studies, Business Organization, Commerce, Banking, Entrepreneurship, Mathematics and/or Statistics.
Candidates must have completed their diploma in Secretarial Practice examination of this University with not less than 55% marks (in theory subjects only) aggregate.
B.Sc (Hons) Home Science
Senior Secondary School Certificate or equivalent with minimum 55 percent marks aggregate in English and three subjects from among Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Home Science.
Bachelor's Degree under 10+2+3 pattern of education in Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences (for those who have studied Chemistry as one of the subsidiary subjects may also be considered eligible), Agriculture, Veterinary Sciences, and/or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and Technology (B. Tech.) or Medicine (M.B.B.S.) or B. Pharma with minimum 55 percent marks.
Candidates who have successfully completed M.Sc. I year in relevant discipline with minimum 55 percent marks
Candidates who have obtained a B.Sc. degree under pattern of education other than 10+2+3.
M.A. Social Work
Candidates must have completed B.A. / B. Sc. / B. Com. / B.S.W. / B. Tech. / B. Arch. / B.E. / M.B.B.S. / B.D.S. / B.R.T.T. / B.U.M.S. / B.B.A. / B.C.A. / B.A.LL.B. with minimum 50 percent marks aggregate.

Graduate Courses and other courses like Advance Diploma / Diploma / Certificate courses where the qualifying examination is Senior Secondary School Certificate or equivalent
Postgraduate & other courses where the qualifying examination is graduation
Postgraduate and other courses where duration of qualifying examination, after graduation, is two years
Postgraduate and other courses where duration of qualifying examination, after graduation, is one year
It must be noted that candidates who wish to apply for AMU 2020 entrance examination must make sure to fulfill the eligibility criteria of AMU 2020. Any candidate who will be found ineligible will be deemed as disqualified from the examination, even at the later stages.
Candidates who are attending their final year of UG or PG may also attempt to sit for AMU 2020 entrance test.
PwD candidates are provided with a relaxation in the age limit with a relaxation upto five years for courses with prescribed age limit.
The eligibility criteria is a criterion set by the university which must be fulfilled by the candidates in order to sit for the examination. If the candidates fail to fulfill the eligibility requirements then they will be deemed as ineligible to sit for the exam and they might even be disqualified from the admission, even at the later stages.
As per the AMU 2020 eligibility criteria, the candidates must be 29 years old to apply for any PG courses. Given the fact that your age is 30, you are ineligible to sit for the PG examination.

But yes DTU mechanical is pretty well and DTU has best faculty in mechanical branch even the availability of machines and equipments are good
