in nest 2021 , new exam pattern it is complusory to attend all the sections?? n it is complusory to attend math section ?? and if it is complusory then the total mark will be not 150 will be 200. please rectify n clear my doubt.

tiwaryamrendra100 13th Mar, 2021

Hello Srijit,

For NEST 2021 there is no changes in exam pattern.

The question paper will consist of 4 (four) sections of objective (MCQ) type questions. Each section is of 50 marks each and will contain subject specific questions from Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. It is in the interest of the candidate to attempt all sections. The merit list for both the institutes is prepared using the best 3 scores out of the four sections and the section with the worst score is omitted.

Thus attempting all sections will increase their chances of a better total score .

You can check the official brochure:

please tell me how can preparation NEST 12th appearing and past anabel

anirudha vats 6th Mar, 2021

NEST stands for National Entrance Screening Test conducted by NIISER Bhubaneswar. The exam basically comprises of four sections,

Biology,

Mathematics,

Physics

Chemistry.

It's rather easy for you to prepare because the syllabus is same as your 10+2 syllabus. You just need to prepare for one more section which you can do in bit by but. If you belong to maths stream you need to prepare for Biology and if you belong to biology stream you need to prepare for maths.

I know a bit of hard work will be required but once you will crack the exam everything will be worth it.

Tips.

Plan a proper schedule or routine to give time for the preparation of both exams consecutively.

Try solving past year question papers.

Try to give mocks in order to analysze the time management.

Don't stress much and keep your confidence till the end.

All the Very best.

Thank you.

NEST EXAM 2021 and IPMAT exam 2021 is on same date . June 14th . what to do ? where to convey ?

Abhishek Roy 13th Feb, 2021

Ideally, NEST for NISER and UM DAE, And IPMAT for IIM Indore IPM have nearly 99% different audiences and hence, the Date doesnt quite become an issue. In case you are applying for both the Tests, you must choose between one, unless their is a change in Date . You may convey your grievances to the Exam Regulatory Authority of IIM Indore or UMDAE, but you should expect any significant reply and action.
