The National Forensic Science University has officially cancelled the NFAT entrance exam. As per the latest NFSU notification 2026, students can now use their CLAT, CAT, CUET, JEE, GATE, GPAT and equivalent exam scores for admission, depending on the course they are applying to. For example, students planning to take admission in MSc in forensic science, forensic biotechnology and more can use their CUET PG 2026 scores.

Students must check the subject combination for CUET PG before applying for the entrance exam. Similarly for BSc-MSc forensic science integrated course, candidates an use their CUET UG marks. For students applying for MTech courses, a valid GATE score is accepted, whereas, for BTech-MTech integrated courses, students need their JEE mains scores. For the management courses like MBA, a valid CAT score is required. Students are advised to check this article regularly for updates on NFAT entrance.

The National Forensic Science University has announced various national level entrance exams such as CUET UG, CUET PG, JEE main, GATE, CLAT and more to be alternatives to the admission process as the NFAT entrance is now cancelled. Based on previous year NFAT application dates, we have compiled a table for expected dates for this year.

As the NFSU has cancelled the NFAT entrance, the university has adapted other national level entrance exams to replace the existing systems. For example, admission to BSc and MSc courses requires CUET UG and CUET PG scores. Similarly, for MBA admission, the NFSU requires CAT exam scores, and for law and MTech admission, scores of CLAT and GATE will be accepted respectively.

As per your query , For NFAT UG exam 2024 cutoff was in cyber security of Btech for Unerservered category theexpected cutoff is 80-60, for OBC is 70-50, for EWS is 65-45 , for SC is 60-40, for ST is 55-35, for PWD is 30+ and for Defence people is 50+.
