There are various reasons why aspirants are talking about the possibility of NFAT getting cancelled. Here are some of the possible reasons why students may think so
NFSU’s history with Common Entrance Exams: Though the university now only accepts NFAT scores for its admission process, earlier, NFSU used to accept scores of various entrance exams such as CUET, CAT, JEE main, GATE, CLAT and more. By switching to old methods the university will get back a significant portion of their working capacity which they can use in administrative or academic works instead of conducting an entire entrance exam.
Social Media speculation: Nowadays, even a rumor is believed to be fact in social media space. Many youtube channels or Instagram accounts post clickbait content which students believe without checking the fact. In this case, there are a few instances where this rumor gained traction because of social media posts where it is claimed that the NFAT exam may get replaced by exams like CUET or CAT.
