Top Government Colleges in India - The Ministry of Human Resource Development has released the National Institute Research Framework Ranking 2020o on June 11. Miranda House College bagged the first position with an overall score of 77.23. It is for the fourth time in a row that the college has spotted in the first rank. The second, third and fourth rank has been positioned by Lady Shri Ram College, Hindu College and St. Stephen's College, respectively. The NIRF ranking 2020 for government colleges in India is decided using certain formulas and any institution is given weightage and ranking primarily based on five areas that include Teaching, Learning & Resources (TLR), Research and Professional Practice (RP), Graduation Outcomes (GO), Outreach and Inclusivity (OI) and Perception (PR). 12 out of top 20 colleges are from the Delhi University colleges. Last year, there were 11 DU colleges in top 20 colleges in India. Some colleges like St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, Sri Venkateswara College, Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College, P.D. Patel Institute of Applied Sciences, Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, Sri Krishna Arts and Science College and Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College have gained their positions.
