CUET PG Marking Scheme 2026: Total Marks, How to Calculate Marks
The CUET PG 2026 marking scheme will remain available at the information brochure released by the NTA. Students who have completed their bachelor's programme and are preparing to appear in the CUET PG must be very well aware of the marking scheme. To calculate the marks obtained in the CUET PG, students must know the marking scheme of the exam. To calculate the raw marks obtained in the examination, students need both the answer key and the response sheet for the respective subjects. For each correctly marked answer, provide yourself with 4 marks. Follow the steps below to calculate your CUET PG raw marks.
Thoroughly check, match your answers with the answer key.
Mark the question and wrong according to the answer keys.
Give each correct answer 4 marks.
Then deduct 1 mark for every wrong answer.

Each paper of the CUET PG consists of 75 questions, each question being 4 marks. So, the total marks of each paper become 75*4=300. In order to qualify for the respective paper, candidates must bring at least 45% marks.

Students will be provided a total of 90 minutes to solve the paper. Students must try to solve the paper within the given time duration. By doing so, one will also be able to perform well in the examination. You have not specified which linguistic paper you are talking about. Therefore, I can only provide you the general steps to find out one. Although the CUET pg exams were already conducted in March 2025, the question papers for this year are not available officially yet by NTA. But still if you want to practise i am providing you some tips to practise the latest questions .
You can check YouTube videos of teachers for your linguistic subject, usually they provide detailed solutions for latest previous year questions. Secondly, as of now you can practice from 2024 pyqs at Career360 linguistic question paper and keep checking for 2025 PYQS to get updated on career360 website.
