Major Changes in CUET 2025: The Common University Entrance Test is expected to see a lot of changes this year. The CUET UG 2025 is to be conducted only in online mode. Instead of 63 subjects, students may require to appear only for 37 subjects. The total number of domain subjects have been reduced from 29 to 23. The number of test papers in CUET will be reduced from 6 to 5. The University Grant Commission has formed an expert panel to prepare a proposal to improve the examination process of CUET for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes from the feedback of the students, teachers, parents and institutions.
The panel will take feedback from the students who have appeared for the CUET in the past years, to provide a convenient and productive environment for students who are appearing for the CUET 2025. The UGC will take all the factors of the examination including pattern, subject-combination, number of papers, duration of the exam and logistics required for the test.
The first edition of the CUET was held in 2022 in online mode. Many students faced technical issues and later the exams were held in multiple shifts across India. In 2024, the CUET UG was held in hybrid format. But it was cancelled a night before the exam day in Delhi due to logistical reasons. Applicants can also apply for subjects which are not part of their Class 12 syllabus.
Candidates are required to appear all the 50 answers in the CUET paper. The total marks of each paper will be of 250 marks.

Hello ayush hope you are doing well
BSc is a future oriented course which emphasis on research as well as teaching oriented degree It gives you a depth on that subject But it depends on your future what you want to do. Btech is industry based course and Bsc is a research based academic degree and NEET is a entry level of professional course If you have enough courage to take a drop and crack any entrance of Engineering or neet for good colleges then you can drop a year. But firstly make sure that your drop year should be worth enough in future.it totally depends on you how you are going to spend your coming year.
If you are not sure about any of these courses and want to take admission this year go for bachelor in science in private universities as they still open their admission process.
