" The first day of CUET-UG went off successfully across India. The test was conducted for Chemistry, Biology, English and General Tests all over India except 258 centres in Delhi. Today, the total number of centres used across India is 2157. The number of candidates who wrote today's papers is as follows:
Chemistry: 643752 candidates in 1640 centres
Biology: 363067 candidates in 1368 centres
English: 862209 candidates in 2077 centres
General Studies: 721986 candidates in 1892 centres.
Since students write multiple tests, the above is equivalent to handling 2591014 students on a single day. This constitutes 44.71% of the total scheduled slots for students registered in pen-and-paper mode.
"This is a landmark achievement by NTA in conducting CUET-UG in such large numbers on a single day, and NTA deserves kudos for their meticulous planning and for making sure that the test today went off well today at such large scale in pen and paper mode," said M Jagadesh Kumar, Chairman UGC.
The tests in four papers scheduled in 258 centres in Delhi on 15 May are postponed to 29 May. This postponement was necessitated due to some logistical issues beyond the control of NTA. Fresh admit cards will be issued to the students in Delhi.
Today's attendance was more than 75%. However, the accurate percentage will be known after we analyze the data."

The National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the CUET exam, which is an entrance exam required to get admission to reputable state, federal, recognized, and private colleges in India. Students in the general category must pass their Class 12 board exam with at least 50% in order to submit an application. To ensure that every student has an equal chance of passing the CUET entrance exam and getting into one of the best universities, the UGC instituted the exam.
But the Class 12 board exam will still carry some weight; the remaining 50% will be determined by the CUET score. This will guarantee that all students have an equal chance to choose the university and graduation program of their choice and help to overcome subjective bias. In order to enable students to take the test and perform well, the CUET exam aims to minimise subjectivity and protect students' interests.
They can now enrol in higher degree programs of their choosing, even if they scored lower on the board exam.Commencing your preparation as early as Class 10+2 is the optimal approach to ace the CUET exam. Instead than memorising lengthy responses and arguments, focus should be placed on the text's facts and formulas.
An applicant may select no more than three languages from Sections IA and IB combined. Subjects related to a certain area cannot be chosen; only one language may be chosen.
In Section II, candidates can choose up to six subjects from a list of 27 possible subjects. The Candidate shall examine the requirements of the university to which they aspire when selecting Languages (up to three) from Sections IA and IB, the General Test from Section III, and no more than six Subjects from Section II.
The exam's difficulty level is covered in the CUET exam analysis 2023 after it has been administered. For a thorough study of the CUET exam 2023, including information on the exam's level, question complexity, number of successful attempts, anticipated cutoff, and other crucial factors, see the Careers360 website.
For the average student, the CUET exam's difficulty level is thought to be moderate.

Hello ayush hope you are doing well
BSc is a future oriented course which emphasis on research as well as teaching oriented degree It gives you a depth on that subject But it depends on your future what you want to do. Btech is industry based course and Bsc is a research based academic degree and NEET is a entry level of professional course If you have enough courage to take a drop and crack any entrance of Engineering or neet for good colleges then you can drop a year. But firstly make sure that your drop year should be worth enough in future.it totally depends on you how you are going to spend your coming year.
If you are not sure about any of these courses and want to take admission this year go for bachelor in science in private universities as they still open their admission process.
