CUET Biology Exam Analysis 2024 - Supergrads by Toprankers

Overall, Paper of Biology was on Moderate side. 40-45% questions were easy and 15% questions were at bit difficult side where options of questions were tricky and students took time to analyse these questions

  • The weightage of concept based and applications based questions was high as compared to previous year
  • Statements Based questions were on higher side this time with applications based concept
  • Reproductive Health had high weightage this time. It is advisable for the candidates who are going to appear in the coming exam that they should ensure to make good command on First Unit which is Reproduction which is covering 10-13 questions now
  • The weightage of Evolution this time was highly decreased
  • Same as Chemistry paper, Biology had less questions this time from Deleted Chapters
  • The Unit Biotechnology had less weightage this year
  • There was a sudden hike in no. of questions from Ecology and Environment
  • NCERT was completely focused here
  • Reproduction, Inheritance, Human Health and Diseases are some units where we saw bit difficult level questions as compared to previous years
  • Important for CUET 2025 Students: Follow the NCERT Strictly, Don't Skip Any Example/Questions from NCERT, Overall Paper might me on same side as 2024

CUET Chemistry Exam Analysis 2024 - Supergrads by Toprankers

This time 31 questions from Solutions, Chemical Kinetics, Electrochemistry, d- and f-Block Elements, Aldehydes, Ketones and Carboxylic Acids and Amines. This is the big change we saw

  • Although NCERT as a keyword was not mentioned in the Official Notification but even this time, NTA made base NCERT to set the question paper
  • Questions from Deleted Chapters were less this time as compared to previous Years'
  • Most of the questions were concept and application based this time
  • ALDEHYDES, KETONES AND CARBOXYLIC ACIDS chapter had the highest weightage this time. Around 40 Marks weightage we saw in the exam
  • For the next year exam, it is advisable for the candidates to make sure the syllabus covered in CBSE (OR NCERT Books) and hence NCERT is the only key
  • Overall Paper was moderate. it is more or less same as last year
  • Numerical Questions were less as compared to last years' papers

CUET English Exam Analysis 2024 - Supergrads by Toprankers

The CUET English Exam for 2024 was predominantly easy, with 75-80% of the questions falling on the simpler side. However, 5-10% of the questions were notably more time-consuming, requiring students to invest extra effort in their analysis.

  • A surprising element this year was the inclusion of 24 questions from Reading Comprehensions, divided into four passages with six questions each. These passages were time-intensive, challenging students' reading speed and comprehension skills.
  • Match the columns in filler-type questions made a significant appearance, with six questions. This format seems to have become a favorite, likely due to its effectiveness in testing students' ability to make connections between related concepts.
  • Interestingly, there were no questions addressing Spelling Errors or Spotting Errors, which was unexpected and marked a departure from previous years.
  • The level of difficulty for the Reading Comprehensions was notably higher this time. This increase in complexity required students to engage more deeply with the text, testing their ability to understand and interpret nuanced information.
  • In summary, the CUET English Exam this year balanced ease with time-intensive questions, particularly in Reading Comprehensions. The shift in question types and the higher difficulty level of passages ensured a comprehensive assessment of students' English proficiency and critical reading skills.

CUET Economics Exam Analysis 2024 - Supergrads by Toprankers

  • The CUET Economics Exam for 2024 showcased a clear emphasis on foundational knowledge, with around 20-25 questions being definition-based and concept-based. This focus on basic principles highlighted the importance of a solid understanding of economic theories and definitions.
  • Interestingly, the weightage of numerical-based questions was relatively low this year, allowing students to concentrate more on theoretical aspects rather than complex calculations. This shift could have eased the pressure on those less confident in their quantitative skills.
  • Consistent with previous years, the exam featured 10 questions presented in the form of a case study. These questions tested students' ability to apply economic concepts to real-world scenarios, demonstrating their practical understanding of the subject.
  • In summary, the 2024 CUET Economics Exam prioritized concept-based questions and real-world applications, with a notable emphasis on current economic challenges. The reduced focus on numerical questions and the inclusion of case studies provided a balanced assessment of students' theoretical knowledge and practical understanding.

CUET General Test Exam Analysis 2024 - Supergrads by Toprankers

  • The CUET General Test saw a significant shift with the inclusion of around 25 questions from General Knowledge (GK) and Current Affairs, comprising approximately half of the exam. This marks the first time such a high proportion of the paper has been dedicated to these topics. The Current Affairs section alone featured 12 questions, translating to 60 marks, a substantial increase compared to previous years.
  • Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude made up the remaining portion of the test. Within these sections, one or two questions stood out for their complexity and intricacy, indicating the examiner's intent to challenge students and test their problem-solving abilities thoroughly.
  • In summary, the 2024 CUET General Test highlighted a major emphasis on GK and Current Affairs, with challenging questions in reasoning and quantitative sections. Future candidates should adopt a well-rounded study strategy, giving equal importance to all sections to adapt to the evolving.

CUET Exam Analysis 2024 - Day 1

" The first day of CUET-UG went off successfully across India. The test was conducted for Chemistry, Biology, English and General Tests all over India except 258 centres in Delhi. Today, the total number of centres used across India is 2157. The number of candidates who wrote today's papers is as follows:

Chemistry: 643752 candidates in 1640 centres

Biology: 363067 candidates in 1368 centres

English: 862209 candidates in 2077 centres

General Studies: 721986 candidates in 1892 centres.

Since students write multiple tests, the above is equivalent to handling 2591014 students on a single day. This constitutes 44.71% of the total scheduled slots for students registered in pen-and-paper mode.

"This is a landmark achievement by NTA in conducting CUET-UG in such large numbers on a single day, and NTA deserves kudos for their meticulous planning and for making sure that the test today went off well today at such large scale in pen and paper mode," said M Jagadesh Kumar, Chairman UGC.

The tests in four papers scheduled in 258 centres in Delhi on 15 May are postponed to 29 May. This postponement was necessitated due to some logistical issues beyond the control of NTA. Fresh admit cards will be issued to the students in Delhi.

Today's attendance was more than 75%. However, the accurate percentage will be known after we analyze the data."

Benefits of CUET Exam Analysis 2024

The National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the CUET exam, which is an entrance exam required to get admission to reputable state, federal, recognized, and private colleges in India. Students in the general category must pass their Class 12 board exam with at least 50% in order to submit an application. To ensure that every student has an equal chance of passing the CUET entrance exam and getting into one of the best universities, the UGC instituted the exam.

But the Class 12 board exam will still carry some weight; the remaining 50% will be determined by the CUET score. This will guarantee that all students have an equal chance to choose the university and graduation program of their choice and help to overcome subjective bias. In order to enable students to take the test and perform well, the CUET exam aims to minimise subjectivity and protect students' interests.

They can now enrol in higher degree programs of their choosing, even if they scored lower on the board exam.Commencing your preparation as early as Class 10+2 is the optimal approach to ace the CUET exam. Instead than memorising lengthy responses and arguments, focus should be placed on the text's facts and formulas.

Hello ayush hope you are doing well

BSc is a future oriented course which emphasis on research as well as teaching oriented degree It gives you a depth on that subject But it depends on your future what you want to do. Btech is industry based course and Bsc is a research based academic degree and NEET is a entry level of professional course If you have enough courage to take a drop and crack any entrance of Engineering or neet for good colleges then you can drop a year. But firstly make sure that your drop year should be worth enough in future.it totally depends on you how you are going to spend your coming year.

If you are not sure about any of these courses and want to take admission this year go for bachelor in science in private universities as they still open their admission process.
