Thus, Careers360 presents this article to help the students get the necessary information about the DU admission process.
The DU application form 2021 for UG programmes will be released on August 2. The admission to UG programmes is done based on the marks scored by candidates in the Class 12 examination. Getting admission to Delhi University and its affiliated colleges is very tough as the admission committee only releases six- seven DU cutoff lists. Another factor is that the cutoff for every programme is set at a very high standard of marks.
However, candidates who failed to qualify the DU cutoff can still have a chance for admission. In cases where all the cutoff lists have been released and few college seats remain vacant. The university releases a spot admission notice mentioning the vacant seats in their respective category and combined rank which candidates must have to be eligible for DU spot admission. To fill these vacant seats, a spot round admission will be conducted. The number of vacants seats differs for every category.

Questions related to DU Delhi
if i got 74% in 12th standard then i got admission in b.com in Du
you will not get DU with 74% in B.com (//B.com) course, you should have score more than 95% so you can think about any of the campus but with 75% you will not get any.
So you can either move to the another college or give some entrance exams of good Universities like BHU, AU, AMU, WBJEE, JMI, etc. to get admission in these college campuses in your preferred course.
Moreover you can use this DU predictor link to find the possibilities of the campus in DU according to your percentage.
Good luck :)
can i get admission in du atter getting 86.75 % in best four subjects?
Admission in Delhi university is completely based on the cutoff list released by the authority for different colleges and courses. Your category matters a lot in terms of checking the cutoff for different courses.
Kindly mention your category and the course you want to pursue so that we can help you in a better way.
Can i apply in du if i scored 62% in 12th cbse board ?
Sorry to say but your Class 12th Marks (62 percent) are very low to get admission into any college affiliated with Delhi University. Based on the previous year cut-offs you can't even get lower colleges of DU also. I would suggest you to take admission in some other good private institutions.
I have done bcom with computer application and I have completed 12th with pcm am I eligible to do mca from Delhi university???
The eligibility criteria may vary from university to university. For example, For pursuing MCA in Delhi University candidates must have a Bachelor's degree from Delhi University or another University with a minimum of 60% aggregate CGPA to be eligible for DU MCA. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree(with at least one paper in Mathematical Sciences under annual mode/ at least two papers in Mathematical Sciences in semester mode) from DU or any university whose examination is regarded as equivalent to Delhi University. There is certain leeway for specific categories. Candidates who are currently enrolled in the final year of the degree for which admission is sought are also eligible to apply for DU MCA.
