Hello Aspirant,
If you cancel your DU SOL admission, the fee refund will be processed according to UGC guidelines. The timeline for the refund isn't fixed, but it's typically processed within 30 days of your cancellation request. The amount refunded depends on how early you cancel your admission. The earlier you cancel, the more money you get back. You should keep checking the official DU SOL website for any updates on the refund status.
If you failed in Class 10 Maths but got an overall pass status, it will not affect your CUET or DU admission, because eligibility is based only on Class 12 marks. For CUET, you just need to pass Class 12 with the required subjects and percentage. So yes, you are eligible to appear for CUET and apply for DU, as long as your Class 12 results meet DU’s criteria. Your Class 10 result won’t stop you.
Hey Tanuj:)

If you forgot to select the Delhi quota while registering for DU or IPU admissions, you may have missed the correction window that usually opens after initial registration, like the one Delhi University offered from July 6 to July 11, 2025.
While some changes are allowed during preference filling, particularly if you haven't locked your choices, changing basic details after submission is generally not possible.
However, since you passed 11th and 12th in Delhi, you are eligible for the 85% Delhi quota, which reserves seats in Delhi Government technical institutions. Your best course of action is to contact the university admission authorities directly via their helpline numbers (DU: 011-27006900, IPU: 011-25302167, 011-25302169) or email admissiongrievances@ipu.ac.in
