Manipal University India admission is for candidates under Indian / Domestic (General) or Foreign / NRI category (International) category. Students need to appear for relevant entrance exams such as the Manipal Entrance Test (MET), the National Entrance Exam, the Department Test (DT), or the MET+DT as per the desired course. However, admission to MAHE is based on candidates’ merit.

How to apply at MAHE: Entrance Exams

Manipal University India offers admission to multiple programmes at the diploma, UG, PG, and doctoral levels. MAHE Manipal accepts various entrance exams for different courses, which are the Manipal Entrance Test (MET), the National Entrance Exam, the Department Test (DT), or the MET+DT as per the desired course.

How to apply at MAHE for International Admissions?

Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) allocates 15% of seats under the Foreign / NRI category. The Foreign / NRI category seats are available only for:

• Foreign Nationals

• Candidates with NRI status

• Candidates sponsored by relatives with NRI status

• Overseas Citizens of India (OCI)

• Person of Indian Origin (PIO)

All foreign / NRI / NRI Sponsored admissions to UG and PG programmes, will be on a first-cum-first-serve merit basis, meeting the various eligibility requirements of the respective programmes as stipulated by the regulatory bodies.

Manipal University International Admissions

Note: There will be no entrance examinations. Candidates who have confirmed their admission under the Foreign / NRI category, by paying the full first year programme fee cannot take admission under the General category.
