For a PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) student, getting admission to a B.Sc. in Data Science at BHU (Banaras Hindu University) or DU (Delhi University) might be challenging, as this field typically requires a background in mathematics.
1. Delhi University (DU) :DU generally requires students to have studied Mathematics at the 10+2 level for admission to courses like B.Sc. in Data Science or similar fields like Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics. If you don't have Mathematics as a subject in your 12th standard, you may not meet the eligibility criteria for these courses at DU.
2. Banaras Hindu University (BHU): Similar to DU, BHU usually requires Mathematics as a compulsory subject for courses like B.Sc. in Data Science or related fields. You would need to check the specific program's eligibility criteria, but generally, without a background in Mathematics, it may be difficult to qualify.

Hello,
With 124 marks in CUET and belonging to the ST category, you have a good chance of getting admission to Banaras Hindu University (BHU) for a B.Sc. in Mathematics, depending on the cutoff for your category.
Regarding hostel facilities, BHU generally gives priority to students from reserved categories like ST for hostel allotment. However, hostel availability also depends on the number of applicants, the total seats available, and the demand in a particular year.
Since hostel seats are limited, I recommend checking with the BHU administration for specific details or contacting the hostel office directly after securing admission to understand the allotment process.
Hope it helps !
Hello there,
The cutoff in Arts stream in BHU is very high. The score of 600+ can get you an decent subject in BHU. Sadly, you score is very low. It is gonna be difficult for you to get into BHU. Even if you are from category, a score of 200+ could've landed you in BHU in a average course. However, apply to every universities which are accepting CUET score.
Yes,there is a little chance you may get admission in affiliated colleges there is some female colleges affiliated to bhu like MAHILA MAHAVIDYALAYA which is inside the campus for females and other is outside campus ARYA MAHILA PG COLLEGE.. and the college allotment depends upon your choice of subject and hons.
Your marks is very low you should try in other colleges too because if you compare last year cutoff for bhu b.a course it is so high as 150 plus.
