Candidates are required to meet the NEPGET eligibility criteria to qualify for admissions. The NEPGET eligibility criteria 2025 details information about the minimum requirements of the NEPGET 2025. M.Sc. Chemistry | B.Sc. (Chemistry with Mathematics) with 55% marks in aggregate for pass course and 50% in Major/Honours |
M.Sc. Forestry | 4 years B.Sc. in Forestry with 60% marks in aggregate or CGPA 6.50 on a 10-point scale |
MBA (Full Time) | Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 55% in aggregate. CAT/MAT/XAT/CAMT qualified candidates will be exempted from the written test only |
MBA (Part Time) | In addition to the above mentioned criteria of full time programme, minimum 5 years of work experience at the managerial level is required |
M.Tech | Candidates must have at least 60% marks in aggregate or CGPA of 6.50 on a 10 point scale with valid GATE score. Students without the GATE scores will also be considered based on the vacant seats |

Steps to fill NEPGET 2025 Application Form
Candidates should go through these steps to fill and submit the NEPGET application form 2025 before its deadline. Applicants should complete the application process to appear for the NEPGET exam 2025 by following the steps given below.
Visit the official website of NEPGET 2025 - nerist.ac.in.
Go to the “Admission” section.
Click on the “NEPGET 2025 application form” tab.
Enter all the required information such as personal details, academic qualifications, and education details in the NEPGET application form 2025.
Submit all the required documents for the verification process of NEPGET 2025 registration process.
Pay the required NEPGET 2025 application fee during the registration process.
Download the NEPGET application form 2025 for future reference.

NEPGET Admit Card 2025
The conducting body will issue the NEPGET 2025 admit card in June on the official website. The NEPGET admit card will be available few days prior to the exam date. The NEPGET admit card 2025 contains detailed information about the name of the candidate, application number, subject name, name of the exam centre, timing, etc. Students must download the NEPGET 2025 admit card and carry a print out to the exam centre during the examination. Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the examination without the NEPGET admit card 2025.
NEPGET Result 2025
The university will declare the NEPGET 2025 result in July on the official website. Students can check the NEPGET result 2025 by using their login credentials such as application number and password. The NEPGET result will be displayed in the form of a score card. The university offers admissions based on the marks obtained in the NEPGET exam 2025.
NEPGET Selection Procedure 2025
Candidates qualified in the NEPGET 2025 exam are required to follow the steps of selection procedure given below.
Students with GATE score card will be exempted from the entrance exam for admissions to M.Sc./M.Tech programmes.
Candidates without GATE/CAT/MAT score cards are required to appear for the written test
The written exam will be conducted for a total of 100 questions of 1 mark each for correct answers.
Candidates will be deducted 0.25 marks (25%) for every wrong answer attempted by the students.
For MBA students, the selection process includes written test and group discussion/personal interview.
The weightage for the written test and personal interview is 75% and 25% respectively.
Only CAT/MAT candidates will be excluded from the written test.
Students having a valid CAT score will be given full weightage of allotted written test, while for those students who have a MAT score will be given 80 marks (80% weightage).
If a student who appeared in the MAT exam wants to appear for the written test, then the candidate can appear for the written test, However, the written test score of the candidate will be considered instead of the MAT score.
The list of selected candidates will be prepared based on the total marks.

NERIST that means North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology Cona,Andhra pradesh.had big campus with 10hostels .8 for boys and 2for girls.One each for PG hostels .Every hostel has its regular fecility and have a good enviornment for study and education.Yhe wifi fecility is available for 6pm to 6AM only. - M. Tech applicants should have a B. Tech. or equivalent degree with a CGPA of 6.5 on a scale of 10 or an aggregate score of 60%. ...
- Candidates should also have a valid GATE Score, in the absence of which, they will have to appear for the NERIST PG entrance test - NEPGET..

On searching for your query I could not find any such offer provided by the institute you mentioned though iiit bhubaneshwar provides tution fee waiver for only those students who have annual parental income less than 2.5 lac but yes above that they will have to pay all other fee including mess, hostel etc

Hi, it is recommended that you first choose your branch. Looking at the pattern and future opportunities in both the branches there is minimal difference between them. IT is all software based and CSE is Software, Hardware and OS core based. Coming to colleges. NEHU has larger space and better infrastructure. Also NIRF ranking is around 82. So, NEHU is better. You can compare your colleges as well as the branches on the link given below. Hope this helps.
