Careers360: Tell us something about yourself. Where are you from?
Aakanksha Chauhan: My name is Aakanksha Chauhan and I am from Shimla.
Careers360: What course are you pursuing and the year you are in?
Aakanksha Chauhan: I am pursuing MBA from Shoolini University, Solan. I have completed my first year of the MBA and will begin my next semester in August.
Careers360: Did you face any difficulty in the initial months when you joined the Shoolini University?
Aakanksha Chauhan: I was extremely excited about starting life on the university campus. But, due to the pandemic, I was not able to attend classes and enjoy campus life like I had always dreamt of. However, despite the lockdown, the online learning experience at the university proved unbelievably valuable and interesting. I give full credit to the faculty who have made online learning so easy and interesting.
Careers360: Describe a typical day at your institute – what do you do from the time you wake up till you go to sleep?
Aakanksha Chauhan: I get prepared for my day in the morning. We have an array of interesting assignments, lectures, and other exciting events lined up during the day. We learn a bunch of new things, which gives me the satisfaction of having had a productive day when I fall asleep.
Careers360: What facilities do you have on the campus? What do you like the most here which you feel is unique and differentiating?
Aakanksha Chauhan: Shoolini University has a beautiful, green and clean campus. It also has an award-winning Yogananda library, indoor and outdoor sports, hostels, seminar hall, amphitheater, guest house along with Wi-Fi, etc. The faculty is extremely helpful and friendly.

Careers360: How do you balance your studies, projects, exams and other activities?
Aakanksha Chauhan: Currently, everything is virtual and online. We have virtual lectures and our examinations and projects are also held online. In case of any doubts, we can reach out to our teachers easily.
Careers360: Is there any in-house magazine or journal for the latest events happening at the institute?
Aakanksha Chauhan: Yes, the university has its own journal called ‘Shoolini University Newsletter’, which covers all the latest activities and events.
Careers360: What are the popular hangouts at the institute and the most-visited places nearby?
Aakanksha Chauhan: There are various popular hangouts at Shoolini such as Nescafe, canteens like Nirmal Canteen, Pine Court, Open Air Theatre, and others. Nescafe is my favourite spot.
Careers360: How do you spend your leisure time at the campus?
Aakanksha Chauhan: I spent the most beautiful time at Shoolini. We hang out with friends, enjoy campus life, participate in various activities, and enjoy various exciting and popular functions at the open air theatre.

Careers360: What activities are available on the university campus? Are there any clubs for extracurricular activities?
Aakanksha Chauhan: We have various co-curricular, social and academic activities which boost self-confidence, Interpersonal skills and personality development among students.
The clubs and societies on the university campus work towards enhancing the overall personality of students. The clubs and societies include, Music Club: Raagrang, Theatre Club: Dramebaaz, Entrepreneurship Club: Samarthya, Painting Club: Satrangi Strokes, Photography Club: Shutterbug, Dance Club: Saksham, Adventure Club: Hiking and Trekking Club, Cooking Club: Baawale Bawarchi, and NCC for defence.
Careers360: Tell us about the faculty-student ratio here and about the teacher-student relationship in your understanding?
Aakanksha Chauhan: At Shoolini University, the faculty-student ratio is 1:15.5. The university has globally acclaimed faculty members. The entire faculty is very supportive, well experienced and possesses great knowledge. They are available at all times for their students.
Careers360: How comfortable and clean are your hostels?
Aakanksha Chauhan: Hostels at Shoolini University are very comfortable. All hostels on the campus focus on great housekeeping and safety of every individual. Hostels provide various facilities like Wi-Fi accessibility, security, a medical centre, and resident caretakers for routine care/emergencies. Hostels are sanitized and cleaned at regular intervals.
Careers360: What about the medical facilities? Can you avail requisite medical attention during an emergency?
Aakanksha Chauhan: Yes, students can request medical attention during any emergency. Shoolini University offers 24x7 medical facilities. A medical centre is available with all support services like ambulance, doctor, pharmacy.

Aakanksha Chauhan: Any student can participate in extracurricular activities by joining our societies and clubs to make learning inclusive. Dance, music, culinary arts, movies, adventure, coding & yoga are some popular clubs.

Aakanksha Chauhan: The placement record of Shoolini University has been 100% over the past few years. Every year, 100+ top companies recruit students from the university.

Soolini University is a state university approved by UGC and NAAC Accredited. The college offers admission to the course of B.Tech Electrical Engineering through HPCET , JEE Main as well as lateral entry for the Diploma students.

Shoolini university is UGC approved Government College situated in Himachal Pradesh. There is no entrance examination for taking admission in Bsc agriculture in this university. You just have to to fill up their application form from there official website. hope this will help you
