Careers360: Tell us something about yourself, such as from which place you are from?
Ananyaa: I am Ananyaa Shree Bhatia. I was born and brought up in Faridabad. I am currently pursuing my dream of becoming a dentist at SDS, MRIIRS, and it’s been a great experience so far. The journey of learning and growing here at Manav Rachna has been both challenging and rewarding.
Careers360: Presently, which course are you pursuing, and in which year are you?
Ananyaa: I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) at Manav Rachna Dental College, and I am in my 5th year. The curriculum is comprehensive, and I am gaining both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, which are essential for my future career as a dentist.
Careers360: Did you face any difficulty in the initial months when you joined the institute?
Ananyaa: The initial months were a bit overwhelming as I had to adjust to a new environment, manage my time, and understand the academic expectations. However, the faculty and seniors were very supportive, and with time, I became more confident in navigating my studies and practical work.
Careers360: What activities are offered in the institute? Are there any clubs etc., for the various extracurricular activities? Which ones have you taken up and are a part of?
Ananyaa: Manav Rachna offers a wide range of extracurricular activities, from cultural events to sports and community outreach. There are several clubs, including the Cultural Club, Sports Club, and the Dental Association, which I am a part of. I particularly enjoy participating in events organized by our college and various other dental college, as it allows me to develop my professional skills while engaging with my peers.
Careers360: Describe a typical day at your institute – what do you do from the time you wake up till you go to sleep?
Ananyaa: A typical day starts early for me, as I wake up around 6:30 AM. I usually begin with a quick workout, followed by preparing for my classes. My lectures and practical sessions usually start by 8 AM and run till the afternoon. After that, I either attend club meetings, work on assignments, or study. Evenings are dedicated to revision or relaxing with friends. I wind up the day with some leisure activities, such as watching a movie or reading, and get to bed around 11 PM.
Careers360: Tell us about the faculty-student ratio here and about the teacher-student relationship in your understanding.
Ananyaa: The faculty-student ratio at Manav Rachna is quite favorable, ensuring personalized attention. Our professors are approachable, supportive, and always willing to help us, whether with academic queries or career guidance. The teacher-student relationship here is very positive, and I feel comfortable seeking help whenever needed.
Careers360: What all facilities do you have on the campus? What do you like here the most which you feel is unique and differentiating?
Ananyaa: The campus is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including well-maintained dental clinics, modern labs, libraries, sports facilities, and Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms. What stands out the most to me is the dental clinic and the technology used for learning, as it allows us to get hands-on experience in a real-world setting while still being in the academic environment.
Careers360: How comfortable are your hostels, and how about the cleanliness factor over there?
Ananyaa: The hostels at Manav Rachna are quite comfortable and well-maintained. The rooms are spacious, and there are various amenities like a mess, laundry, and recreational facilities. Cleanliness is well-maintained, with regular housekeeping and a focus on hygiene.
Careers360: What about the medical facilities? Can you avail requisite medical attention if needed in an emergency?
Ananyaa: Yes, the campus is equipped with medical facilities, including an on-campus health center. In case of an emergency, medical attention is readily available, and the staff is well-trained to handle most situations. The institute also has tie-ups with nearby hospitals for more serious cases.
Careers360: How do you balance your studies, projects, exams, and other activities?
Ananyaa: Balancing academics and extracurriculars can be challenging, but with good time management, it becomes manageable. I prioritize my coursework and exam preparations while also dedicating time to clubs and extracurricular activities. The key is to plan ahead and stay organized, so I don’t feel overwhelmed.
Careers360: Tell us about the clubs and societies at the campus and how significant they are from your point of view or the students' point of view?
Ananyaa: The clubs and societies at Manav Rachna are very significant to students as they help develop leadership skills, team collaboration, and creativity. The Cultural Club, Sports Club, and academic societies play a huge role in the overall development of students. From a personal perspective, being part of these clubs has enriched my college experience by allowing me to network with peers and faculty while exploring different interests.
Careers360: Is there any in-house magazine or journal for the latest events or happenings at the institute?
Ananyaa: Yes, the college has an in-house journal that covers various events, achievements, and updates related to the campus. It’s a great way for students to stay informed about what’s happening on and off campus.
Careers360: What are the popular hangouts at the institute? What, according to you, are the most-visited places nearby?
Ananyaa: Some of the popular hangout spots on campus include the Nescafé, the library lounge, and the sports complex. Nearby, there are several places like shopping malls, food courts, and local parks that students frequently visit to relax or catch up with friends.
Careers360: How do you spend your leisure time on the campus?
Ananyaa: During my leisure time, I like to engage in a variety of activities, such as playing sports, catching up with friends, or attending cultural events. I also spend time reading or exploring new hobbies like making reels. There’s always something interesting happening on campus, so it’s never boring.
Careers360: What type of companies come for campus recruitment, and what percentage of students get placed every year? How is the recruitment process here?
Ananyaa: Various renowned dental clinics, hospitals, and healthcare companies visit the campus for recruitment. The placement process is very structured, and the training and career services team ensures that we are well-prepared. A significant percentage of students get placed each year, thanks to the college’s strong industry connections and the quality of education provided.

Although you have good chance to qualify neet at 140 marks as if we see las two year trends then for OBC cut off marks for qualifying was 108 and 113 marks respective year.

501 and above - 100% scholarship
451- 500 - 50% scholarship
401 - 450 - 25% scholarship
Also 25% Tuition fee Waiver up to maximum of Rs. 12500/ per semester to First Child only. But if first child is already getting scholarship on the basis of Merit then this benefit would be passed to second child, if applicable.
