Mam can you tell me about what type of test is taken up by IISERS. If one apply for it via iit jam rank in order to pursue MSc biotechnology from there. And is there any site where one can download the test papers

Akram Khan 8th May, 2020

Hi,

There are 7 IISERs in India. None off these  IISER provide M.Sc biotechnology course. The IISc provides integrated bs.Ms Or msc.phd courses in biology or biological sciences.

The following courses are provided by IISERs.

B.S

B.s- Ms programs

Integrated Ph.D programs

Ph.D

For integrated Ph.D programs IISER take admission through IIT jam followed by interview.

The M.Sc biotechnology course is provided by some IITs and NITs  in India. Which takes admission on the basis of IIt- JAM. So if you want to do M.Sc biotechnology you can apply at IITs and NIts for the two years msc biotechnology course.

Here is the link for previous years question paper of IIt- jam - https://jam.iitkgp.ac.in/?id=jdl

Hope it helps.
