The varsity prepares the result of TNAU 2024 for undergraduate programmes on the basis of Class 12th marks. There is a method adopted by the TNAU through which the rank list of TNAU is calculated.

In some cases, a university is unable to assign ranks to candidates using standard procedures, because more than one student may have similar marks. In these cases, the TNAU applies the following criteria to determine the inter se merit:

• Marks out of 50 in Mathematics. If a student has not studied Mathematics, then marks out of 50 in Biology or (Botany + Zoology)

• Marks out of 50 in Physics

• Marks out of 50 in Chemistry
