For admission to more than 150 programmes, Lovely Professional University actively administers the Scholarship Test (LPUNEST) in addition to national entrance exams. CUET Overview

Admissions to the UG programmes in all Central Universities will be through the CUET exam 2024 held by NTA. It is a single exam to be held in 61 subjects, including languages and the general test. The full form of CUET is the Common University Entrance Test. More than 300 colleges and universities nationwide, including 44 central universities, will use the results of the CUET UG exam in 2024 to determine who gets admitted to undergraduate programmes. The CUET exam will be both computer-based as well as pen and paper.

JEE Main Overview

The full form of the JEE Main is the Joint Entrance Exam Main (JEE Main). The exam is a national-level computer-based entrance exam that is held for admission to B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Planning/ B.Arch courses. The authorities conduct the JEE Main exam for 2 papers. The paper 1 is conducted for B.E/B.Tech course admission at NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs while paper 2 is conducted for admission to B.Arch and B.Planning courses at various institutes accepting JEE Main scores 2024 for admission. IIT Bombay conducts the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED), a test for design admission. The purpose of the UCEED exam is to shortlist the candidates for B.Des admission in IIT Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, and IIITDM Jabalpur. The UCEED exam is conducted at the national level once a year in 27 cities across the nation.

The Common Law Admission Test, also called CLAT is a national-level law entrance examination conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLUs). CLAT is conducted across the country, in offline, pen and paper format.

NATA Overview

For admission to five-year B.Arch and B.Planning programmes, the Council of Architecture (COA) conducts the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA), a national undergraduate exam. The test is conducted in online and offline mode. COA conducts a comprehensive computer-based aptitude test at the Council allotted centres across the country every year. The NATA entrance examination is an aptitude test that assesses a candidate’s ability through a variety of testing formats.

How to apply For LPU admission?

Candidates should make sure to report at the LPU as per the reporting schedule available on the LPU Jalandhar website. Lovely Professional University Jalandhar does not give any relaxation in the attendance or evaluation process for late reported students due to delay in visa or any other reason whatsoever.

Students who report earlier than the prescribed reporting schedule, will not be allowed to join the university and may be asked to go back to their home country. LPU may also cancel the admission of the student reports at the university beyond the prescribed reporting time.
