AP EDCET 2024- Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education has released the AP PGCET 2024 application form on April 18, in online mode. Aspirants can visit the official website at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in to fill the AP EDCET 2024 application form till May 15. The conducting body has announced the AP EDCET 2024 exam dates in online mode. Andhra University will conduct the AP EDCET exam 2024 on June 8. Andhra University conducts the AP EDCET entrance exam for aspiring students who wish to pursue B.Ed courses.

To avoid any late fees, it is recommended that candidates complete the AP EDCET 2024 registration process before the deadline. The AP EDCET exam will be conducted in computer based mode. The AP EDCET 2024 admit card will be issued on May 30, and can be downloaded from the official website by entering the login credentials. The AP EDCET 2024 result will be available on the university's official website in the form of a scorecard. What is AP EDCET 2024 exam?

Andhra Pradesh Education Common Entrance Test (AP EDCET) is an entrance examination conducted by Andhra University on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) for admission into B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) programmes offered by various colleges and universities in the state of Andhra Pradesh. AP EDCET exam is held once a year and is open to candidates who have completed their undergraduate degree and meet the eligibility criteria. The AP EDCET 2024 exam will consist of a computer-based test (CBT) with questions from various subjects such as general knowledge, teaching aptitude, and the subject chosen by the candidate for the B.Ed programme. The AP EDCET exam paper will be available in both English and Telugu, except for the English methodology section. Candidates who choose to take the entrance test in Urdu will receive a paper in either English or Urdu. 1. Nationality: Candidates should be Indian nationals.

2. Local/Non-Local Status: Candidates must fulfill the local/non-local status criteria as specified in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order 1974, along with any subsequent amendments.

3. Educational Qualifications:

(a) For the application submission of AP EDCET 2024, candidates should have completed or be in the final year of their B.A./B.Sc./B.Sc. (Home Science)/B.Com./ B.C.A./B.B.M./BE/B.Tech programs. It is necessary to provide mark memos and pass certificates during the admissions process.

(b) Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA in their Bachelor's Degree (B.A./B.Sc./B.Sc. (Home Science)/B.Com./B.C.A./B.B.M) or in the relevant subject's Post-Graduate Degree. Alternatively, candidates may have completed a 5-year integrated course in the relevant subject of methodology or possess any other equivalent qualification. However, candidates belonging to reserved categories (S.C., S.T., B.C.(A/B/C/D/E)) or those who are physically handicapped need to have secured a minimum of 40% marks or an equivalent CGPA in the qualifying examination.

(c) It's important to note that candidates who have passed B.E/B.Tech. (with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA) and have studied mathematics and physics are eligible for admission into the course in Math Methodologies.

AP EDCET Age Limit: Applicants must have reached the age of 19 by July 1st of the year when the notification is released. There is no maximum age requirement.

The AP EDCET  is conducted for admission into B.Ed. programme in colleges across the state of Andhra Pradesh. The eligibility criteria for choosing a subject under Part-C are as follows:

Steps to fill AP EDCET application form 2024

• Once logged in, click on the link that says 'Pay Application Fee'.

• You will be given the option to make payment through various modes such as AP Online, Credit Card, or Debit Card.

• Choose the suitable payment mode for fee payment.

• Upon selecting the payment mode, you will be redirected to the payment gateway page.

• Enter all the necessary details, such as card number, expiry date, CVV, etc.

• Check all the details carefully and then proceed for payment.

• Once the payment is successfully processed, a fee receipt will be generated.

• Make sure to print the fee receipt for future reference.
