Meghalaya BSc Agriculture 2026 Admission Eligibility Criteria

Students must fulfil some eligibility criteria in order to fill out the Meghalaya BSc agricultural admission form.

• Academic criteria- Students must secure 55% marks in class 12. 10% relaxation is provided to the candidates belonging to reserved categories.

• Education Qualification- Candidates must pass 12 with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the compulsory subjects from a recognised board.

• Age criteria- Minimum age required is 17 years, and the maximum age limit is 21 years.

Meghalaya BSc Agriculture Application Form 2026

Applicants who are interested in agriculture or horticulture courses must fill out the form by visiting the websites. Students will be asked to upload the scanned images of the documents. They must take the printout of the Acknowledgement slip after submitting the form. To fill out the application form, candidates are required to follow these steps:

• Visit the website at megagricultute.gov.in.

• Go to the section of Latest updates.

• Click on the BSc Agriculture admission link.

• Fill in the required details very carefully.

• Now, click on the “Click Here to upload documents’

• Enter your name, application code and registered mobile number

• Upload your scanned documents one by one very carefully.

• Press the ‘Submit’ button to submit the application.

Step 3: Print the Application

• Go to the ‘Print Acknowledge Slip’ section.

• Fill in your mobile number, captcha and also the OTP.

• Then, click on the ‘Send’ button.

• The PDF of your BSc Agriculture application will appear on the screen.

• Download and take a printout.

Selection Criteria of Meghalaya BSc Agriculture Admission 2026

Selection of candidates will be strictly on a merit basis, which will be determined purely on the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

• If the percentage of marks obtained in the PCB by two or more candidates is identical, the merit will be determined by taking into account the marks in PCB and English.

• If the percentage of marks obtained in the PCBE is identical, then the candidates who are older in age will be considered.

Meghalaya BSc Agriculture Merit List 2026

The Board of the Directorate of Agriculture, Shillong will release the provisional merit list of the candidates in offline mode. The merit list will be available on the notice board of the Directorate of Agriculture, Shillong. The selected candidates will have to appear for the counselling. The allotment of the seats will be made on the list prepared and based on the availability of seats in different colleges.

Meghalaya BSc Agriculture Counselling 2026

The counselling will be done according to the merit list prepared by the authority. The Meghalaya BSc Agriculture merit list will be prepared on the basis of the ICAR result. It will be done in the offline mode. Students will have to attend the Meghalaya BSc agriculture counselling at the allotted venue with their documents. Final admission of the students is termed to be complete only after the fee submission and after the college reporting.
