About JAM 2025

IIT JAM 2025 - The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi has activated the link for IIT JAM application correction window on November 6, 2024. Students who have successfully submitted the JAM application form can change the exam cities, test paper, category and gender till November 18. However, the last date to upload OBC-NCL or EWS certificate in JAM application 2025 is November 20. Students can confirm the status for compensatory time or scribe assistance till December 30.

The IIT JAM admit card 2025 will likely be released on January 15 in online mode. Students can download JAM admit card 2025 by visiting the official website at joaps.iitd.ac.in. The institution closed the JAM 2025 registration process on October 18. Applicants could register by submitting the IIT JAM application form 2025 on the JOAPS portal. The university will conduct the IIT JAM exam 2025 on February 02 in online mode.

The IIT JAM 2025 results will be declared on March 16 on the official website. Candidates who have appeared for the JAM 2025 exam can check their results by using their login credentials, in online mode. The conducting body will release the JAM scorecards 2025 from March 25, in online mode. The scorecard is mandatory for the counselling process of the IIT JAM 2025. The IIT JAM 2025 will be conducted in online mode, to offer admissions for candidates in 21 IITs for various programmes including M.Sc. Joint M.Sc - Ph.D, M.Sc Ph.D dual programme, integrated Ph.D, M.Sc - M.Tech and M.Sc and M.S programmes. IIT JAM 2025 will be held for seven papers they are:

  • Mathematical Sciences (MS).
  • Mathematics (MA).
  • Physics (PH).
  • Chemistry (CY).
  • Biotechnology (BT). 
  • Economics.
  • Geology (GG).

Candidates can also apply for one or two papers depending on the eligibility criteria of the IIT JAM 2025. IIT Delhi will conduct the admission process for various programmes based on the marks secured by the candidates in the JAM exam 2025. Similarly, the participating institutions will conduct the counselling process separately based on their own cut off marks of IIT JAM

IIT JAM Exam Full Form

The full form of JAM 2025 is the Indian Institute of Technology Joint Admission Test for Masters.  It is conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology every year to offer admissions to various M.Sc and PG programmes in IITs and participating institutions.

What is IIT JAM?

Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi is the conducting body for IIT JAM. It is a national-level online entrance examination conducted by IIT to offer admissions for candidates in various M.Sc and PG programmes in IITs . IIT JAM 2025 will offer admissions to around 3000 seats through CCMN counselling 2025. Every year, along with the IIT JAM participating institutes will also conduct the entrance exams for candidates seeking admission to M.Sc and PG programmes. Thousands of students appear for the JAM entrance exam 2025 which will be held in the IIT JAM exam centres. IIT JAM 2025 Admission Process

  • To be eligible for IIT JAM 2025, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, from a recognised university. 
  • Candidates will have to fill out an online application form and submit it along with the requisite application fee. After submission of the application form, candidates must take a printout of the acknowledgement slip for future reference.
  • Admission Process:  Based on the marks secured by the candidates in IIT JAM 2025, a merit list will be prepared. Candidates who make it to the merit list will be eligible to participate in the counseling process. During the counseling process, the candidates will be allotted seats in the IITs based on their rank in the merit list, choice of the course and availability of seats.

The JAM 2025 eligibility criteria can help candidates to know the minimum requirements of courses before applying for the admissions. The eligibility criteria of IIT JAM 2025 might vary for every programme offered by the IITs and the participating universities.

IIT JAM Eligibility Criteria 2025 

  • Candidates are required to complete their graduation. The proof of graduation should also be submitted within the deadline.

  • Marks must be calculated by taking all the subjects into account, including the languages and subsidiaries of all the years combined.

  • Candidates of General/OBC (NCL) category must have secured a minimum 55% aggregate or 5.5 out of 10 CGPA/CPI in aggregate without rounding off.

  • The candidates belonging to SC/ST and PwD category should have scored at least 50% or 5.0 out of 10 in their graduation.

The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi has opened the JAM application correction window on November 6, 2024. The institution released the JAM application form 2025 on September 3, 2024, in online mode. Candidates could fill and submit the JAM 2025 application form till October 18. Candidates registered for the JAM 2025 could make payment till the last date. IIT Delhi made the JAM application form 2025 available on JOAPS portal, JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS). The following details are required to be filled in the JAM 2025 application form:

  • Personal Details.
  • Academic Details.
  • Exam Centre Details.

While filling the JAM application form 2025, it is mandatory for the candidates to upload the following documents-

  •   Class 10 mark sheet.
  •   Class 12 mark sheet.
  •   Qualifying degree certificate.   
  •    Photograph.
  •    Signature.

Biotechnology

IIT JAM application form has been released on August 25 in online mode. The mode of application is only online. Candidates can visit the official JOAPS portal and fill the application form of JAM 2022. The last date to fill JAM 2022 application form was October 14.

How to fill Application Form JAM 2022

Following are the steps which a candidate must follow to fill their applications.

Step 1 - Registration

  • Visit the official website of IIT JAM 2022.
  • Go to the JOAPS portal.
  • Enter the registration details such as the name of the candidate, email address and mobile number.
  • The login credentials will be sent to the candidates in their registered email ID and mobile number.

Step 2 - Filling application form

  • Login using the credentials and click on "Edit the application form".
  • Enter the academic and personal details in the application form of JAM.
  • Select the exam centre zones and exam cities.

Step 3 - Upload the required documents

  • Candidates are now required to upload the scanned signature and photograph in the suggested specifications.
  • After uploading documents and filling details, verify the details filled in the application form.

Step 4 - Paying application fee

  • Make the payment using a debit card, credit card or net banking 

Step 5 - Confirmation

  • Take the printout of the application and fee payment confirmation  page.

The Indian Institute of Technology Joint Admission Test (IIT JAM Exam) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by IITs for admission into their M.Sc., M.Sc.-Ph.D., and other post-graduate science programmes. Candidates preparing for the IIT JAM 2025 exam should be aware of the exam pattern. The exam pattern for IIT JAM 2025 will include multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and numerical answer type (NAT) questions.                                                                                                   For the IIT JAM (Joint Admission Test for M.Sc.) exam, you need to provide a Central EWS (Economically Weaker Section) certificate.
