About: IILM was established in 1993, under the aegis of the Ram Krishan & Sons Charitable Trust. IILM University offers a holistic and integrated approach to learning across a broad range of subjects of; Liberal Arts, Management, and Law. IILM is accredited by the SAQs (South Asian Quality Assurance System), NBA (National Board of Accreditation) and AIU (Association of Indian Universities). For admission at IILM University, candidates will have to submit the application form with all necessary documents. All candidates with good academic achievement, performance in a wide array of extracurricular activities, and a statement of purpose will be invited for the IILM Personal Interview before the final communication about their admission. A minimum of 25% of seats for admissions in the University will be reserved for students of the State of Haryana, out of which 10% seats will be reserved for students belonging to Scheduled Castes of the State of Haryana, as per Section 35(3) of the Haryana Private University Act 2006. IILM University considers LSAT India scores as part of the selection process for admission to the BA LLB, BBA LLB, and LLM programmes. IILM University is also accepting the Pearson Undergraduate Entrance Exam scores.

Q. Tell us something about yourself such as from which place are you from?

Ans: I am Khushi and I am from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. I am a student of SCSE.

Q. Presently which course are you pursuing and in which year are you?

Ans: I am pursuing BTech in Computer Science and Engineering. I am in the second year of my programme.

Q. Did you face any difficulty in the initial months when you joined IILM University?

Ans: I did face some challenges during my initial months. Adapting to a new academic environment, getting used to the university's systems and processes, and finding my way around campus were all part of the adjustment period. Additionally, managing coursework, extracurricular activities, and personal life required some juggling and time management skills. However, with the support of faculty, peers, and resources available at the university, I was able to overcome these challenges and gradually settle into a routine that allowed me to thrive academically and socially.

Q. What activities are offered at IILM University? Are there any clubs for the various extracurricular activities? Which ones have you taken up and are a part of?

Ans: At IILM University, there's a diverse range of extracurricular activities available to students, catering to various interests and passions. The university recognises the importance of holistic development and offers numerous clubs and societies to enhance students' overall experience. Some of the activities and clubs available include:

As a student at IILM University, I've personally been involved in the cultural club where I've participated in dance, drama and music. Additionally, I'm a member of the Entrepreneurship Cell, where I've had the opportunity to attend guest lectures, workshops, and startup pitch events to nurture my interest in entrepreneurship and innovation. These extracurricular activities have not only enriched my university experience but have also helped me develop valuable skills and expand my horizons beyond the classroom.

Q. Describe a typical day at IILM University - what do you do from the time you wake up till you go to sleep?

Ans: At IILM University, an average day includes rising early, going to classes in the morning, taking breaks for meals, taking part in afternoon events like club meetings or workshops, studying in the evening, and relaxing before going to bed. It's a well-rounded schedule that incorporates social engagements, personal time, and academic endeavours.

Q. Tell us about the faculty-student ratio at IILM University and about the teacher-student relationship in your understanding.

Ans: Faculty-student ratio is 1:24. Faculty members are cooperative and they are quite interactive, understanding and helpful. Every student has a mentor assigned to whom he/she can discuss his/her concerns beyond academics.

Q. What facilities do you have at the IILM University campus? What do you like here the most which you feel is unique and differentiating?

Ans: As a student at IILM University, I value the variety of resources offered, such as the state-of-the-art library, well-equipped classrooms, study spaces, and laboratories. I find the university's emphasis on a holistic education particularly noteworthy, as it integrates experiential learning opportunities with academic brilliance, ethical principles, leadership development, and critical thinking.

Q. How comfortable are your hostels and how about the cleanliness factor over there?

Ans: Campus hostels are spacious, well-furnished, secured and properly ventilated. Rooms are cleaned daily and there’s proper electricity and water supply in hostels.

Q. What about the medical facilities at IILM University? Can you avail requisite medical attention if needed in an emergency?

Ans: The doctor is on duty around the clock on the IILM University campus, and students are given access to a taxi and a driver in case of emergency, escorted by a warden.

Q. How do you balance your studies, projects, exams and other activities?

Ans: I use rigorous time management, prioritisation, and planning techniques to balance my coursework, projects, and tests at IILM University. I make plans, establish objectives, maintain organisation, take breaks, and am adaptable enough to adjust to changes. I can keep myself on track and properly handle my tasks by asking for help when I need it.

Q. Tell us about the clubs and societies at the IILM University campus and how significant are they from your point of view or the student’s point of view.

Ans: At IILM University, there are many different options for social interaction, skill development, and personal improvement through clubs and societies. Sports, academic, cultural, social effect, and artistic groups are among them. From the viewpoint of the student, these clubs are important for creating a sense of community, exploring hobbies, making friends, and honing leadership abilities. They offer long-lasting relationships that continue after graduation and enrich the entire college experience.

Q. Is there any in-house magazine or journal for the latest events or happenings at IILM University?

Ans: Yes, it is published by the name PRAVAH, It is a Newsletter which contains information about the latest events at IILM University.

Q. What are the popular hangouts at IILM University? What, according to you, are the most-visited places nearby?

Ans: Chai Garam, Box Cafe, Scholar’s Cafe, Gymnasium. Nearby places to hang out are Venice Mall, Ansal Plaza, Omaxe Mall, Shopping Centre near to metro station Knowledge Park 2, within 1.5 km.

Ans: I spend my time listening to music and hanging out with my friends on campus.
