As per a report from International Labour Organisation, India has a youth population of around 40 per cent i.e. the people that belong to the age group of 13 to 35 years. What is a Bachelor Of Vocation course?

Bachelor Of Vocation (BVoc) is a modular course with exit at each level after one year with the certificate for the same. Such as a student enrolled in a BVoc programme can exit with a diploma degree, an advanced diploma degree, and a BVoc degree at the end of the first, second, and third year respectively.

All students who have successfully completed their Class 12 exams or equivalent level of examination as per the specific stream required for the vocational degree are eligible to pursue the BVoc programme.

Is BVoc Different At Par With Regular Graduation?

This course increases the chance of job opportunities as compared to a regular graduation degree. As the graduates are well aware and skilled as per the employment standards of state and national level industries. UGC has seen changes in its trends in BVoc courses since 2014.
